"I wanted to take a step back from all of that because it adds to the emotion of wanting to play," Kelce explained, emphasizing the importance of evaluating his body, mental determination, and love for the game.

"I hated how that ended last year. I want to make it right - get another chance and get another Super Bowl," he stated.
Despite rumors, Kelce clarified that his return wasn't influenced by the recent signing of running back Kenneth Walker III or the anticipated return of quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Instead, he found inspiration closer to home.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Kelce mentioned his fiancée, Taylor Swift, as a motivating force. Her passion and dedication to her craft have been a source of inspiration for him.
"That’s motivating for anyone to see, let alone my fiancée," Kelce shared, highlighting how her drive has encouraged him to continue pursuing his own goals.
