Travis Kelce Reveals One Thing He and Taylor Swift Have Never Tried

Travis Kelce reveals a surprising detail about his relationship with Taylor Swift during a candid conversation with George Clooney on his podcast.

Relationships are rarely simple, even for the biggest stars in sports and entertainment. But if you ask Travis Kelce, things with fiancée Taylor Swift have been surprisingly smooth.

On the latest episode of New Heights, the podcast hosted by Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end sat down with none other than George Clooney for a wide-ranging conversation that touched on football, fame, and yes-romance.

The Kelce brothers welcomed the Academy Award-winning actor with their usual blend of humor and curiosity, eventually steering the conversation toward relationships. In a rapid-fire segment, Travis teed up a lighthearted but telling question for Clooney.

“We know you’re on a tight schedule, brother, and we appreciate your time,” Travis said. “We’ve gotta ask, but you don’t have to answer. You could tell us to kick rocks, or you could have some fun with us.”

Clooney, relaxed and ready, crossed his arms and said, “OK, ask away, man.”

Then came the question: “You claim that you and your wife have not gotten into a fight in 10 years. Are you lying?”

Clooney didn’t flinch. “No, I’m not lying,” he said, prompting laughter from both Kelce brothers.

But Clooney wasn’t going to let Travis off the hook that easily. With a smirk, he turned the question around: “Travis, shall we ask you the same questions?”

It was a playful jab, but one that hit a topic fans have been curious about for months: the inner workings of Kelce’s high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift. Since Swift’s first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium back in September 2023, the couple has been in the spotlight non-stop. From NFL sidelines to red carpets, their relationship has become one of pop culture’s favorite storylines.

And yet, for all the public appearances and viral moments, the couple has kept much of their relationship private-until recently. Back in August, Swift made her first-ever podcast appearance on New Heights, sitting down with the Kelce brothers for over two hours. That episode, which pulled in over 24 million views, offered fans a rare glimpse into their relationship timeline, from how they met to how they balance life in the public eye.

This week, Travis added another layer to that picture.

“Well, it’s only been two and a half years,” he said in response to Clooney’s question. “And you’re right.

I haven’t gotten into an argument. Never once.”

That drew more laughs from the group, with Clooney chiming in, “Honestly, you know, neither of us is going to win the argument, so why get in it?”

Whether Kelce was being completely candid or just sidestepping any potential trouble at home, the moment landed with charm. Clooney then offered up a bit of wisdom on what’s made his own marriage work.

“I met this incredible woman who, you know, she’s beautiful and smart, and she stands for all the most important things I believe in in the world,” Clooney said. “I can’t believe how lucky I am, so what am I going to fight about?”

Both Kelce brothers nodded in agreement, clearly soaking in the advice. Travis responded with a grin, “I am for sure.

I’m just taking notes this whole time, big guy. You don’t even know.”

Of course, with an engagement announced this past summer, there’s been plenty of speculation about when and where Kelce and Swift will tie the knot. A recent report hinted at a Rhode Island wedding next summer, but neither Travis nor Taylor has confirmed anything.

For now, Kelce’s focus returns to the gridiron. The Chiefs are set to host the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium this Sunday, with kickoff at 7:20 p.m. Kansas City sits at 6-6, looking to stay in the playoff hunt against a surging 7-5 Texans squad.

But if Wednesday’s podcast is any indication, Kelce is balancing football and fame with a little help from some Hollywood wisdom-and a relationship that, at least by his account, hasn’t hit any bumps yet.
