Tom Cruise Had The Perfect Reaction To Arrowheads Chiefs Atmosphere

Actor Tom Cruise shares high praise for both the Kansas City Chiefs and the exhilarating atmosphere at their historic Arrowhead Stadium, urging fans to experience a game before the team relocates.

Tom Cruise got a front-row taste of Chiefs football at Arrowhead Stadium, and he came away sounding like a converted fan.

Appearing on the New Heights podcast, Cruise talked up the experience of watching Kansas City’s 31-10 win over the Broncos on “Monday Night Football.” He was in a luxury box with Travis Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, along with friends and family, and the setting clearly left an impression.

“It was so fun,” Cruise said on the podcast episode that was released Friday. “All your friends, all the people there, just such a beautiful vibe. And to see (Patrick) Mahomes, his comeback is just miraculous.

“But you guys together and the whole team together was just - it was a wonderful experience.”

Cruise also said he had been texting with Kelce before the trip and joked that he almost sent a message he decided to hold back.

“I was gonna write you, like I told you last night,” Cruise said. “I was like, ‘Now listen, I’m not coming to Kansas (City) to see you lose.’

We were texting back and forth. I had this thing, and I was like, ‘I’m not sending it.

He knows it already. I’m not sending this.’”

That line drew laughs from Cruise, Kelce and Jason Kelce, the podcast’s co-host.

Swift also came up during the conversation, with Cruise recalling a football chat from the box that included a nod to Super Bowl LVII, which the Chiefs beat the Eagles in, with Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce on opposite sides.

“By the way, I was sitting next to Taylor last night. She told me ... it was so funny.

She was talking about your first date. We were talking about football,” Cruise said.

“What she said (on the first date) was like, ‘How was it you two hitting each other?’”

Swift wasn’t exactly fluent in football when she first met Kelce, and she once thought the Kelce brothers were both on the field during Super Bowl LVII. But Cruise said she’s picked up the game quickly.

“She sees the flags coming in,” Kelce said.. “Like ‘Oh, that might be a defensive hold.’

I’m just like, ‘what? What’d you say, sweetie?’

She was like, '’That’s encroachment.’ I’m like, ‘You know what that is?’

She’s on it now. She got fully engulfed in it.”

Cruise said he got a similar education from Swift during the game.

“She was schooling me,” Cruise said. “’This is happening or that is happening.

He’s coming in.’ It was awesome.”

Travis Kelce And Patrick Mahomes Took This Broncos Pregame Issue Personally

Arrowhead Stadium had a little extra edge in pregame warmups when Broncos punts started landing in the Chiefs space, and Travis Kelce made sure the message was clear. He reacted by kicking the balls into the stands, treating the intrusion less like a nuisance and more like part of the gamesmanship that comes with playing in a heated division setting.

Kelce later pointed to a past incident involving Ravens kicker Justin Tucker as the kind of competitive moment he meant, while Patrick Mahomes backed the idea that Kansas Citys pregame routine matters. Mahomes also noted that kickers have occasionally failed to move out of the way during warmups, a small but familiar irritation that can sharpen the mood long before kickoff. [Read more 🡒]

Brittany Mahomes Had Chiefs Fans Talking Again During Monday Night Football

Monday Night Football brought Patrick Mahomes back into the spotlight for his first start since a knee injury, but Brittany Mahomes ended up drawing plenty of attention of her own in the stands. She showed up in a custom all-denim outfit for the Chiefs win over the Denver Broncos, and the look quickly started making the rounds on social media as fans noticed her game-night style.

One of the posts that added to the buzz came from Sophie Cunningham, the Indiana Fever guard and Missouri native, who praised the outfit online. Cunningham has already spent much of the year interacting with Brittany Mahomes fashion posts, so the latest exchange fit right into a running back-and-forth that has made her one of the more familiar outside voices around Chiefs Kingdom. Chiefs Fans Got Fresh Ammo In The Mahomes Herbert Debate

Justin Herbert has spent most of his Chargers tenure carrying the burden that comes with being a top-tier quarterback on a team that still has to prove it can finish the job. Since arriving in Los Angeles in 2020, he has piled up the kind of individual production that keeps him in the conversation with the leagues best, and the Chargers decision to bring in Jim Harbaugh in 2024 gave the franchise a harder edge that quickly produced playoff berths in both of his seasons.

Still, Herberts postseason rsum remains the sticking point, and a rough Week 1 showing in the 2026 season only added fuel to the criticism. For Chiefs fans, it was the kind of reminder they do not mind revisiting, especially in the long-running Mahomes-Herbert comparison, where the Chargers quarterback keeps looking like a player with all the talent in the world and a future that still needs to catch up to the expectations around him.
