Sunday night’s Chiefs-Colts thriller had plenty of drama on the field, but one replayed moment from the suite level may have stolen the most attention.
Late in overtime, Kansas City and Indianapolis were locked at 30 when Daniel Jones hit Laquon Treadwell for 48 yards. Chiefs cornerback Nohl Williams jarred the ball loose on the play, and officials first ruled it a Kansas City fumble recovery.
The booth took another look, though, and the call was reversed after officials determined Treadwell was down by contact when Chiefs safety L’Jarius Sneed grazed his hip. That decision erased the turnover and gave the Colts a fresh set of downs.
The overturned ruling sparked a visible reaction from Taylor Swift, whose suite-level footage showed her throwing up her hands and shouting toward the field. She appeared to mouth, “That’s bulls**t!” as the review went against Kansas City, matching the mood of plenty of people in the stadium at that moment.
The call mattered. Kansas City had already gone up 30-27 in overtime on a Harrison Butker field goal, but the Colts’ extended drive stayed alive after the reversal. Facing fourth-and-8, Indianapolis settled for a tying field goal to make it 30-30.
Patrick Mahomes then leaned on Kenneth Walker III to move the Chiefs back down the field, and Butker finished the job with a 40-yard field goal as time expired for a 33-30 Kansas City win.
Swift wasn’t the only one venting after the replay. The clip quickly made the rounds online, and fans echoed the same kind of disbelief.
“You can literally see the moment she stops believing in the refs and just starts trusting her own eyes,” one fan wrote.
“To be fair, it was complete and utter bulls**t,” another fan offered.
“My hubby and I were both yelling ‘that’s bulls**t’ at the tv too!!😂😂,” a third fan wrote.
Kelce also gave Swift plenty to react to before the controversial sequence. He finished with nine catches for 101 yards and a touchdown.
The production has become a familiar part of his season, and it comes after he considered retirement following a rough 2025 campaign. He has also previously credited Swift’s own work ethic as part of what pushed him to keep playing into 2026.
Kansas City walked away with the 33-30 victory, but the overturned call - and Swift’s reaction to it - made the sequence one fans won’t forget anytime soon.
