Brittany Mahomes had a front-row view for one of the season’s most dramatic finishes, and she made sure the Las Vegas Raiders heard about it afterward.
She was in a luxury suite at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, there to support her husband, Patrick Mahomes, as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Raiders. During the game, she shared behind-the-scenes looks from her day on Instagram and later posted a custom Chiefs-themed outfit that drew plenty of attention from her followers.
But the real postgame moment came after Kansas City’s comeback.
Brittany Mahomes took aim at Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak after his halftime confidence didn’t age well. In a sideline interview at the break, Kubiak had said, “We’re winning.
We’re gonna win the game.” The Chiefs then turned the second half into their own show, storming back to win and move to 4-0.
Mahomes answered with Kubiak’s own words on Instagram, writing, “We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game,” followed by a smirking emoji.
The post spread fast, and fans piled on with reactions. “And We won!!!!
❤️❤️,” Randi Mahomes said. “The caption understood the assignment 😂👏🏻,” a second person wrote.
“Patrick seen that on playback and was like.. Bet🤣,” a third person stated.
“I KNEW his comment was gonna backfire and was waiting 🍿😂😂,” a fourth person added.
On the field, Kansas City’s 31-27 win over Las Vegas came after a fourth-quarter rally, but the victory was shadowed by a gruesome injury to breakout receiver Tyquan Thornton. Still, the result pushed the Chiefs to a perfect 4-0 start.

Chiefs Suddenly Have A WR Problem They Couldnt Afford
The Chiefs were already navigating their share of offensive questions when Sundays game against the Raiders turned into a deeper problem at wide receiver. Rashee Rice left earlier with a hamstring injury, then Tyquan Thornton went down late in the fourth quarter after hauling in a significant catch, adding another hit to a passing game that could ill afford it.
Thornton was carted off the field with what looked like a severe ankle injury and is expected to miss time, which leaves Kansas City even thinner at a spot where reliability matters every week. With Rice also sidelined, the Chiefs now have to piece together production from the rest of the receiving group and hope the damage does not linger into the next stretch of the schedule. Chiefs Fans Have Every Right To Question This Mike Caliendo Decision
The Chiefs Week 4 win over the Raiders came with an offensive line adjustment that raised eyebrows before and after the final whistle. Kansas City replaced starting left guard Kingsley Suamataia with veteran Mike Caliendo, and Andy Reid confirmed afterward that it was a coaching decision without offering much beyond that, calling it a private matter between him and Suamataia.
The move matters because left guard is one of the spots Kansas City can least afford to leave unsettled, especially with depth concerns already hanging over the line. Even with the offense getting the result it needed and the Chiefs still unbeaten, the decision left a familiar question lingering in the background: whether this was a one-game tweak or the start of something more significant. Chiefs Had One Late Scare That Should Infuriate Fans
The Chiefs survived another tight one Sunday, outlasting the Raiders 30-27 in a game that had the feel of a division test from start to finish. Kansas City moved to 4-0, keeping its perfect start intact in a matchup that stayed tense deep into the fourth quarter and once again left little margin for error.
Xavier Nwankpa delivered the closing play with an interception that sealed it, but the finish still featured a controversial catch ruling that nearly swung everything the other way. For a Chiefs team trying to stack wins early and a fan base that expects cleaner endings, it was the kind of late scare that will linger even after the result goes in the standings. [Read more 🡒]
