Antonio Brown went after Patrick Mahomes on social media Wednesday after a strange sideline topic from Maxx Crosby started making the rounds.
Brown retweeted the report and wrote, "Moaning while being tackled??" He then followed it with a homophobic and derogatory remark.
The comment stemmed from Crosby’s appearance on Tuesday’s episode of his podcast, "The Rush," where the Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher talked about the Raiders’ 30-27 loss to Kansas City on Sunday. Co-host Brogan Roback brought up Mahomes’ reactions when he gets hit, asking, "Does Mahomes make noise when you tackle him?"
Crosby answered, "I don't know," then made an "Ugh!" sound that came off like a moan.
When Roback asked him not to use that word, Crosby laughed and said, "There's no other word! But yeah."
Crosby also said the game had a physical edge from the opening snaps and that he and Mahomes were talking throughout. Even with all that back-and-forth, he said he has "ultimate respect" for the Chiefs quarterback. He added that after big hits, Mahomes rolls over and "peeks at me, just to see," while Crosby looks back at him.
Against Mahomes, Crosby has built up a huge body of work. He has 6.5 sacks and 49 quarterback pressures in 14 regular-season games, and no other player has taken down the two-time MVP as many times.
Still, the numbers didn’t change the result Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. Both AFC West teams entered at 3-0, but Kansas City pulled away with three touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Crosby ended with three tackles and half a sack, while Mahomes picked up his 14th win in 16 games against the Raiders.
Crosby’s comments after the game have also fed the chatter around his future. He called Mahomes "the best quarterback of our generation."
"Maxx Crosby is gonna be such a great Chief one day," analyst Nick Wright tweeted. "Can't wait for it, to be honest."
Crosby’s status in Las Vegas has been unsettled all year. In March, the Baltimore Ravens offered two first-round picks for the 29-year-old, but the deal was called off after he failed his medical.

Maxx Crosby Just Took The Mahomes Rivalry Somewhere Personal
Maxx Crosby has never been shy about the edge that comes with facing Patrick Mahomes, and his latest comments on The Rush add another layer to one of the AFC Wests most familiar feuds. The Raiders pass rusher talked about the in-game back-and-forth with Kansas Citys quarterback, describing the kind of physical, play-to-play friction that has made every meeting feel a little bigger than the box score.
Crosby said Mahomes reacts in ways most fans never hear or see, and he pointed to the way the quarterback has responded after hits as part of their ongoing rivalry. For Kansas City, it is simply the latest reminder that Mahomes remains the standard every opponent circles, while Crosby keeps finding ways to be a problem whenever these teams line up across from each other. Brittany Mahomes Added More Postgame Buzz To Chiefs' Undefeated Start
The Chiefs kept their unbeaten start rolling with a 30-27 win over the Raiders, and the usual postgame chatter came with an extra layer of intrigue. Patrick Mahomes threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns, while Kenneth Walker powered the ground game with 177 rushing yards and two scores, helping Kansas City move to 4-0 in a tight AFC West race.
Las Vegas had its own reasons to believe after falling to 3-1, even if coach Klint Kubiak said the offense still needs to sharpen up. Patrick Mahomes also made a point of crediting the Raiders' defense afterward, which only added to the buzz around a game that already had plenty of edge, and Brittany Mahomes helped keep the conversation going after the final whistle. Chiefs Suddenly Have A Trade Question Fans Werent Expecting
The trade market around the NFL is already starting to take shape, and one of the more interesting ripple effects for Kansas City comes from Detroits defensive problems. ESPNs Jeremy Fowler pointed to the Lions as a team that may need to upgrade its secondary, a sign that the market for cornerbacks and other defensive help could heat up quickly as the deadline approaches.
Kristian Fulton is one name Fowler floated, with Jalen Ramsey also mentioned as a possibility, and the urgency is obvious given that Detroit has been the leagues worst defense this season. The Lions are allowing 423.8 yards per game, but whether they actually pull the trigger on a deal before the deadline remains unclear, which is exactly the kind of uncertainty that can reshape who is available for teams watching the market closely.
