Odell Beckham Jr. is setting the stage for a potential NFL comeback, and several teams could be interested in his talents. The New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, and New England Patriots are all in the market for a wide receiver, and Beckham might just be the answer they're looking for.
In a recent chat with Kay Adams at the Fanatics Flag Football event, Beckham expressed his eagerness to return to the field this season. "Looking forward to hopefully getting the opportunity to play this year," he shared, signaling his readiness to make an impact once again.
The idea of reuniting with the New York Giants, especially to catch passes from quarterback Jaxson Dart, seemed to light up Beckham. "That sounds great," he said, clearly intrigued by the prospect.
"If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that and be excited. He's [Dart is] a good dude."
Since being released by the Miami Dolphins in 2024, Beckham hasn't suited up in the NFL. His last full season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023 saw him accumulate 565 yards and three touchdowns over 14 games. While he might not be the explosive playmaker he once was, Beckham's experience and skill set could still add value to a team looking for depth.
A Giants-Beckham reunion would certainly be exciting, adding another weapon for Dart. But New York isn't the only team that could benefit from his presence. The Kansas City Chiefs, with their relatively inexperienced receiving corps, could use Beckham's veteran savvy to complement Patrick Mahomes' dynamic play.
Meanwhile, in New England, the Patriots could also stand to gain from Beckham's experience. With Romeo Doubs and Kayshon Boutte as their primary targets, quarterback Drake Maye would surely welcome another reliable option like Beckham.
As Beckham eyes a return, it's clear he could still contribute significantly, particularly to a team with a young quarterback or one on the cusp of contention. While he may not be the superstar of a decade ago, Beckham's potential impact as a seasoned playmaker is undeniable.
