The daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt shared her Week 1 look on Instagram after attending the Chiefs Kickoff Luncheon, and the post quickly got attention from fans. Hunt used the event to help mark the start of the season and set the tone for what comes next.
“Let’s get down to business, the Chiefs Kickoff Luncheon is always a special opportunity to come together, celebrate the team, and officially set the tone for the season ahead. The road starts here-let’s get to work, Chiefs Kingdom!”

Kansas City, of course, has bigger business ahead than social media reaction. The Chiefs open the season Monday night against the Denver Broncos on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,” and they enter the year after missing the playoffs in 2025. Patrick Mahomes is coming off an injury, though the Chiefs expect him to be ready for Week 1.
Mahomes said the team is looking to move ahead with confidence. “We’re gonna be a new version of the Chiefs that goes out there and dominates the same way the old one did,” Mahomes said before the season.
The AFC West won’t give Kansas City any breathing room. Denver reached the AFC Championship Game last season, the Chargers are expected to be strong with Justin Herbert leading them, and the Raiders could also become a factor if rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza eventually takes the starting job from Kirk Cousins.
