Barefoot is putting Donna Kelce’s favorite wine in a Chiefs-branded spotlight for the new NFL season.
The California winemaker has rolled out a collectible, limited-edition pinot grigio bottle tied to Kansas City, and it’s being sold for a limited time at select spots in Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska. It’s the company’s first special edition bottle made in partnership with an NFL team.
The wine itself should sound familiar to anyone who has followed Barefoot’s tie-ins with Kelce. Three seasons ago, the brand moved quickly when Travis Kelce’s new girlfriend started drawing a wave of new female fans to the game. Barefoot, the NFL’s official wine sponsor, brought in Donna Kelce as a brand ambassador to help connect with that audience.
Donna Kelce has made her preference clear along the way. She especially liked Barefoot’s pinot grigio, which the company describes as a crisp, light-bodied white wine with hits of white peach and tart green apple. She also helped promote a giveaway for seats in an Arrowhead suite - dubbed a “Bandwagon Box” - on Nov. 20, 2023, when the Chiefs and Eagles met in a Super Bowl rematch.
A few months later, she was back with Barefoot again, this time offering tips on how to host a Super Bowl party. Her favorite pairing: a hot dog with pinot grigio.
The new Chiefs bottle can be found at Village West Discount Liquors in KCK; Market ‘48 Wine and Spirits in Overland Park; K-7 Liquors in Shawnee; Party Time Liquor in Olathe; and 87 Wine and Spirits in Lenexa.
Barefoot suggests serving its pinot grigio with hot and salted pretzels, grilled chicken skewers or nachos.

The Chiefs will kick off the 2026 season in a familiar but tricky spot, opening on Monday Night Football against Denver in Week 1.
