Chiefs Fans Stunned By Shocking NFLPA Report Card Grades

Despite shining in coaching and management, the Kansas City Chiefs face setbacks in player satisfaction as revealed by the latest NFLPA report card.

The NFL Players Association’s 2026 report card for all 32 teams is out, and it seems the Kansas City Chiefs have some homework to do. Despite their storied history, this past season’s struggles might have left a mark on their grades.

Let’s break it down. The Chiefs received a less-than-stellar F for their locker room, a significant drop from previous years. This feedback, gathered from 1,759 players between November and December 2025, paints a picture of where the team stands in various aspects.

One of the most notable declines was in team travel, plummeting from a B to a D-minus. Clearly, the players felt the travel arrangements didn’t meet expectations this time around.

On the brighter side, the Chiefs’ defensive coordinator, Steve Spagnuolo, shone with an A grade, showcasing his strong leadership on defense. Offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, who’s now with the New York Giants, received a C-plus, while special teams coordinator Dave Toub earned a B.

Head coach Andy Reid continues to command respect with an A, and general manager Brett Veach isn’t far behind with a B-plus. Ownership, led by Clark Hunt, saw a slight improvement, moving up to a C-plus from last year’s C-minus.

The Chiefs wrapped up the 2025 season with a 6-11 record, marking their first losing season since Reid took the helm in 2013. This ended their impressive streak of nine consecutive AFC West titles and seven straight AFC Championship Game appearances.

Here’s a closer look at the Chiefs’ grades:
