Caitlin Clark didn’t need much time to answer the question. On a bonus episode of Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast, the Indiana Fever star was asked whether Travis Kelce is her favorite Chiefs player of all time, and she made it plain.
“Come on. Of course he is.
I was a Tony Gonzalez fan when I was growing up, too. But no, Travis is definitely my favorite Chiefs player of all time, and Patrick is right behind him.
So, it’s been very fun to follow,” Clark said.
Clark has long worn her Chiefs fandom on her sleeve. The Iowa native has become a familiar face at Arrowhead Stadium, and last month she sat with Taylor Swift to watch Kelce. The Kelce brothers also backed her on New Heights.
Her loyalty came up again when Kylie praised Clark for not putting on a Colts jersey, even though she plays in Indianapolis. Clark said the moment looked worse after the fact because her teammates were wearing it too.
“Honestly, like in real time, I wasn’t like thinking like, ‘Oh, I’m not going to put this on cause I don’t want like the Chiefs fans mad or Travis mad or whatever.’ But after the fact, I didn’t realize all my teammates had it on.
So, that made me look worse. But, whatever.
I still have the jersey,” Clark said, on the podcast.
She also drew a clear line between wishing the Colts well and where her real allegiance sits.
“No, I mean I wish them the best, the Colts, but I am diehard Chiefs. I’ve been diehard since I was a young kid and it is what it is,” Clark said.
Clark even weighed in on Kansas City’s season, saying the Chiefs have steadied themselves after a rough 2025. She pointed to the Seahawks loss as a stumble, but not something that changes how she views the team.
“It’s just like they just make it look so easy. Obviously, the Seahawks game the other week wasn’t great for us, but it’s all right.
The Seahawks are pretty good, but it’s been fun to kind of see them, like, have the bounceback year that they have had. Obviously, last year was tough with the injuries and everything, but I’m feeling good about it this year,” Clark said.
The Chiefs are 5-2 after Sunday’s loss to the Denver Broncos. And with Clark in their corner, they’ve got one very visible fan staying locked in.

Xavier Worthy Still Hasn't Become The Chiefs Threat They Drafted
Xavier Worthy arrived in Kansas City with the kind of speed that usually changes how defenses line up, but the big-play version of the Chiefs receiver has been harder to find than expected. Through his young career, he still has only one 100-yard receiving game, the same total as rookie running back Emmett Johnson, a reminder that the vertical threat the Chiefs drafted has not yet become a consistent weekly problem for opposing secondaries.
The latest example came against Denver, where Kansas City got more production through an unexpected source than from the player built to stretch the field. Johnson led the Chiefs in receiving yards and found the end zone, while Worthy was held to a quiet afternoon, leaving the team still waiting for the deep-ball impact that was supposed to be part of his calling card. Andy Reid Signals Two Chiefs Decisions Fans Will Be Watching Closely
Andy Reids latest injury update brought a little more clarity to the Chiefs Week 9 prep, with Peter Woods still the only player kept out of practice because of a neck stinger and Mansoor Delane back on the field after dealing with a shoulder injury. There was also a positive note for the offense, as Rashee Rice is expected to keep trending up after his recent return from a hamstring injury, giving Kansas City another piece to work with as it gets ready for the Jets at home.
The bigger roster questions, though, are the ones fans will keep watching in the coming days. Reids comments pointed to movement at left guard, where Kingsley Suamataia looks positioned to get another shot in the lineup, while general manager Brett Veach continues to monitor the market ahead of the November 10 trade deadline. With the Chiefs trying to steady things in the middle of the season, the next decisions could shape both the immediate lineup and whatever help might still be on the way. [Read more 🡒]
Chiefs Receiver Problems Could Push Brett Veach Toward A Risky Move
The Chiefs receiver room has been forced into the conversation again as injuries and uneven production continue to leave Brett Veach with a problem that could linger all the way to the trade deadline. Kansas City has been linked to the idea of adding help at the position, and the market is thin enough that any move would come with real risk, especially if the front office is looking for someone who can contribute quickly without costing too much in future flexibility.
One name that keeps surfacing in the background is Rashod Bateman, a player whose profile makes sense on paper because of his contract situation and flashes of production, even if the fit comes with obvious questions. Baltimores own quarterback injuries and cap pressure could make the Ravens more open to listening, but nothing has been finalized, and for the Chiefs the challenge is deciding whether a swing for help is worth the baggage that could come with it.
