The post landed in the middle of a noisy night for the officials. Several flags went against Miami at important moments, and one call drew especially loud criticism: a third-quarter roughing the passer penalty on Dolphins pass rusher Chop Robinson after he tackled Patrick Mahomes.
Robinson appeared to brace his fall and avoid contact with Mahomes’ head, and former NFL cornerback Richard Sherman questioned the ruling on X. He said he wasn’t sure what a defender could do differently, “other than not trying to make the play.”

This time, the game itself was much cleaner for Kansas City. Patrick Mahomes completed 20 of 24 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns, including an 11-yard strike to Travis Kelce that sealed it. The Chiefs defense forced two turnovers, and Miami’s offense stayed under 14 points for a third straight week.
