The Jacksonville Jaguars head into their 32nd NFL season with the kind of buzz that has been missing around Duval County for a long time.
That comes on the back of a 13-3 campaign in Liam Coen’s first year, and the next step is obvious: Jacksonville is chasing its first championship game appearance in franchise history. With one of the league’s top young coaches leading the way, the Jaguars are positioned to make plenty of noise.
Before the regular season starts, Jacksonville will get a tune-up slate that begins Saturday, August 15, at the New Orleans Saints at 4 p.m. on FOX. The preseason continues with a home game against the Carolina Panthers on Friday, August 21, at 7:30 p.m. on CBS, then another home date with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday, August 28, at 7:30 p.m. on FOX.
The real grind opens at home in Week 1, when the Jaguars host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, September 13, at 1 p.m. on CBS. From there, the early stretch brings a road trip to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, September 20, at 4:05 p.m. on CBS, followed by a home matchup with the New England Patriots on Sunday, September 27, at 1 p.m. on CBS.
Jacksonville then heads to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, October 4, at 1 p.m. on CBS before crossing the Atlantic for back-to-back London games. The Jaguars face the Philadelphia Eagles in London on Sunday, October 11, at 9:30 a.m. on FOX/NFL Network, then meet the Houston Texans in London on Sunday, October 18, at 9:30 a.m. on FOX/NFL Network.
After a Week 7 bye, the schedule turns back toward the AFC South. The Jaguars return home to play the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, November 1, at 1 p.m. on CBS, then hit the road for a Thursday night trip to the Baltimore Ravens on November 5 at 8:15 p.m. on FOX/Amazon Prime.
The middle and late portions of the schedule bring a steady run of division and conference matchups. Jacksonville visits the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, November 15, at 1 p.m. on FOX, then travels to the New York Giants on Sunday, November 22, at 1 p.m. on CBS. The Titans come to Jacksonville the following week on Sunday, November 29, at 4:05 p.m. on CBS.
December starts with a road game at the Chicago Bears on Sunday, December 6, at 1 p.m. on FOX, followed by a Monday night home clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 14 at 8:15 p.m. on CBS/ESPN. The Jaguars then go back to Houston on Sunday, December 20, at 1 p.m. on CBS before closing out the listed slate at the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, December 27, at 8:20 p.m. on NBC.
