Jaguars Fans Just Landed Near The Top Of A Surprising NFL List

A recent Harvard study unveils surprising insights into the political affiliations of NFL fan bases, revealing which teams have the most Republican-leaning supporters.

A Harvard study has taken a fresh look at the political leanings of NFL fan bases, and the results put a familiar regional pattern on display. Across the league, the picture is mixed, but the teams that land near the top of the Republican side are heavily concentrated in the South and Midwest.

The Tennessee Titans sit at No. 1 on the list of the NFL’s most Republican-leaning fan bases. Right behind them are the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 2 and the Cincinnati Bengals at No.

  1. The Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers complete the top five, followed by the New Orleans Saints at No. 6, the Indianapolis Colts at No. 7, the Carolina Panthers at No. 8, the Minnesota Vikings at No. 9 and the Cleveland Browns at No.

The Kansas City Chiefs come in just outside that group at No. 11, which still places them among the more Republican-leaning fan bases in the league. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has kept his distance from political endorsements, and he explained why in a 2024 interview: “I think I’ve always said I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever either way,” Mahomes said. He added, “I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote, is to inform people to do their own research and then make their best decision for them and their family,” Mahomes added.

The broader takeaway from the study is that geography matters. Fan bases often reflect the politics of the states and regions where their teams are based. Even so, the rankings only point to general trends across large groups, not the views of every individual fan.

Bills Fans Will Feel Mitch Morses Heartbreaking Family News

Bills center Mitch Morse shared heartbreaking family news this week, announcing the death of his younger brother Robbie, who passed away last week at age 30. Robbie lived with lifelong disabilities after suffering severe brain trauma as an infant, a personal loss that quickly drew condolences from around the league, including from the Bills, the Jaguars and former teammates.

For Jacksonville fans, it is one more reminder of how closely connected this league can be, even across opposing locker rooms. Morse has long been one of the more respected voices in the AFC, and the response to his announcement reflected the kind of support players often lean on in moments like this, when football fades into the background and family comes first. Liam Coens Viral Transformation Has Jaguars Fans Loving This Start

Liam Coens first season in Jacksonville has already given Jaguars fans plenty to feel good about, and the conversation around the head coach has extended beyond the sideline. After overhauling his diet and workout routine, with encouragement from Hall of Famer Tony Boselli, Coen has lost about 50 pounds, and the before-and-after photos that surfaced online quickly became a talking point among fans who are already enjoying the teams fast start.

The weight-loss buzz only adds to the broader momentum around a Jaguars team that finished 13-4 and captured the AFC South in Coens debut season. Jacksonville has also backed up the optimism with recent wins over the Bengals and Patriots, leaving the fan base focused on how far this run can go while Coens transformation continues to draw attention of its own. Jaguars' Fast Start Comes With One Obvious Concern Fans Can't Ignore

Through four weeks, the Jaguars have put themselves in a familiar but welcome spot atop the AFC South at 3-1, and much of the early optimism has been easy to understand. Trevor Lawrence has looked sharper and more efficient in the passing game, Travis Hunter has quickly become a meaningful presence on defense, and the ground game has found real support from Chris Rodriguez Jr. and others. Even the run defense has held up as one of the leagues best, giving Jacksonville a sturdier all-around profile than it showed at times a year ago.

Brian Thomas Jr., though, remains the one piece that keeps the early run from feeling completely settled. For a team with real division ambitions, his slow start stands out because the Jaguars need more than just competence around Lawrence if they want this fast opening to translate into something lasting. The rest of the roster has given Jacksonville a strong foundation, but the passing attack could look even more dangerous if Thomas begins to match the expectations that came with his role.
