The Jaguars are heading into 2026 with plenty of buzz after taking the AFC South from the Texans, and their preseason slate gives fans an early look at what could be a fascinating team. Trevor Lawrence leads the offense, with Brian Thomas Jr., Jakoki Meyers and Parker Washington among the receivers around him. Travis Hunter is also expected to play a big role on both sides of the ball after his rookie season was cut short by an ACL injury.
Liam Coen has some sorting to do as well, especially in the backfield. The running back picture includes second-year Bhayshul Tuten and veteran Chris Rodriguez, whom Coen coached in college at Kentucky. On defense, Jacksonville will have to replace linebacker Devin Lloyd, but Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen still anchor the edge.
For the preseason, Jacksonville has three games on the board. The opener comes Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Saints at 4 p.m.
ET, followed by a Friday, Aug. 21 home game against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The Jaguars close preseason play on Friday, Aug. 28 against the Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Two of those games will be shown locally on FOX30: the Saints game and the Buccaneers game. The Panthers matchup will air locally on CBS47. Fans can also stream all three preseason games live on fubo.
Jacksonville’s preseason schedule is only part of the bigger picture, though. The regular season begins Sunday, Sept. 13 at home against the Browns at 1 p.m.
ET on CBS, with a Week 2 trip to Denver on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 4:05 p.m. ET also on CBS.
The Jaguars then host the Patriots on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. ET and visit the Bengals on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.
ET, both on CBS.
The middle stretch includes two games in the U.K., with Jacksonville facing the Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 11 and the Texans on Sunday, Oct. 18, both at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network.
After the bye in Week 7, the Jaguars return home to play the Colts on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
The rest of the schedule includes a Thursday night road game at the Ravens on Nov. 5 on Prime Video, a trip to the Titans on Nov. 15 on Fox, games at the Giants on Nov. 22 and at the Bears on Dec. 6, a home date with the Titans on Nov. 29, a Monday night matchup at the Steelers on Dec. 14, a visit to the Texans on Dec. 20, and a home game against the Cowboys on Dec. 27. The final two games are listed as TBD: at home against the Commanders and on the road at the Colts.
