The Colts are doing their homework on Marvin Harrison Jr., and they’re not alone.
According to ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss and Stephen Holder, Indianapolis is among the teams taking a hard look at the Cardinals wideout and would be willing to trade for him if he becomes available. For now, Arizona is not shopping Harrison, but that hasn’t stopped teams from checking in and gathering information on the former fourth overall pick.
Harrison, for his part, isn’t entertaining the noise.
“Truthfully, I pay it no mind,” Harrison said. “I’m only focused on Detroit, helping the Cardinals win football games at the moment. So whatever rumors you’re talking about, I don’t pay it no mind.”
That stance hasn’t kept him from landing in the middle of one of the more interesting trade discussions ahead of the in-season deadline, set for November 10.
Harrison Jr. is 24 and comes into the league with a serious pedigree. He’s the son of NFL Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, a three-year starter at Ohio State, and a 2023 hardware sweep at the college level that included Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, consensus All-American honors, and the Fred Biletnikoff Award.
Arizona selected him fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft and signed him to a four-year deal worth $35,374,742, with a $22,547,084 signing bonus and the full amount guaranteed. The contract carries an average annual salary of $8,843,686.
On the field this season, Harrison has played in four games for the Cardinals in 2026 and has five catches on 13 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown.

Colts Rookie Class Is Already Creating A Chris Ballard Debate
The Colts went into the 2026 NFL Draft without a first-round pick, so Chris Ballard had to lean on volume and patience when he used eight selections from rounds 2 through 7 to restock the roster. Four games into the season, the early returns on that class have been uneven, which is hardly unusual for a group this deep but still enough to keep Ballards draft approach under the microscope.
Some of the rookies are already carving out roles on special teams or in reserve duty, while others are barely getting on the field as the staff sorts out who can help right now and who will need more time. Deion Burks, in particular, has had a limited offensive footprint so far, and George Gumbs, Jr. has yet to dress for a game, leaving the Colts with an early puzzle on which young pieces are actually moving the needle. Colts Face A Huge Week 5 Question Ahead Of Steelers Clash
The Colts are trying to sort through a tricky injury picture as they get ready for a Week 5 matchup with the Steelers, and the biggest question hanging over the offense is whether Keenan Allen will be available. Shane Steichen has not said if the veteran wideout will play after Allen sat out Week 4 with a groin injury and was limited in practice this week, leaving Indianapolis to plan with more uncertainty than it would like at this point in the season.
There are other absences already on the books, with Ashton Dulin, Arden Key and Jaylon Carlies ruled out for the game. Center Tanor Bortolini is also still in limbo, which only adds to the sense that the Colts may be piecing together a lineup while trying to stay on track at 2-2 against a Pittsburgh team that is usually unforgiving when opponents are short-handed. Colts Win Streak Faces A Real Test If Their Offense Can't Clean Up
The Colts have steadied themselves with two straight wins after an uneven start, but the next step in that recovery comes with a tougher margin for error. A trip into Week 5 against the Steelers will say plenty about whether this run is real or just a brief correction, especially with the offense still trying to smooth out the kinds of mistakes that can put a game in danger before it ever settles in.
Daniel Jones recent decision-making has been part of that conversation, and Indianapolis cannot afford extra giveaways or field-flipping plays against a defense that will make every possession count. There is at least some help on the way for the passing game, with Keenan Allen expected back from injury, while Alec Pierce remains out, leaving the Colts with enough pieces to look better on paper and still enough uncertainty to make this a very real test.
