Simone Biles gave fans another glimpse into the easy, playful rhythm of her marriage to Jonathan Owens, and this time the joke was aimed squarely at her husband.
Biles posted a photo to her Instagram Story from their bedroom showing Owens in bed, scrolling on his phone with one hand while holding onto her fingers with the other. The Olympic gymnastics star teased him as a “Level 5 clinger,” a lighthearted swipe that landed during his busy training camp with the Indianapolis Colts.
The timing fit their routine. Biles stopped by Colts practice on August 17 and shared clips and photos of the two kissing on the sidelines, making the most of a rare stretch of time together while Owens works through camp.
Owens signed with the Colts in March on a one-year contract. Before that, the veteran safety played for the Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears.
His NFL path began after he went undrafted out of Missouri Western State, and he has pieced together a steady career through persistence and opportunity. Biles has been along for that ride, and she has made her pride in his journey clear, especially after he entered the league without hearing his name called on draft day.
Their relationship began on the dating app Raya in 2020, and they married in 2023. Along the way, the couple has dealt with plenty of public attention.
Owens took heat after talking about their early dating experience on “The Pivot” podcast in 2023, when he called himself “the catch” and said he did not initially know who Biles was. The two moved past that backlash and have continued sharing pieces of their life together.

Earlier this summer, Biles also said she went through a serious health scare while Owens was at Colts activities, calling it “one of, if not the scariest experience of my life.” She later said she recovered at home, and Owens was with her for a medical procedure.
