Simone Biles turned Lucas Oil Stadium into a runway Sunday, showing up for Jonathan Owens’ first regular-season game with the Indianapolis Colts in a custom look built around his new team colors.
Biles arrived ahead of the Colts’ Week 1 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens wearing a blue-and-white minidress designed to match Owens’ uniform. His last name was stretched across the front of the plunging halter-style dress, and his No. 38 was displayed across the back.
The best moment, though, came before kickoff when Biles and Owens linked up on the sideline. Owens came over in full uniform, the two shared a handshake and kiss, and Biles then wrapped her arms around him. The NFL posted the moment on video and described it with the caption, “handshake for good luck”
Biles then turned to show off the back of the dress, giving Owens a clear view of the No. 38. He answered with a smile and another affectionate exchange before heading back to work.
This has become a familiar part of game day for Biles, who has made custom NFL outfits part of the routine when supporting Owens. While he played the last two seasons with the Chicago Bears, she regularly wore looks centered on his name and number, including oversized jackets, custom boots and matching sets. His move to Indianapolis this offseason opened up a new palette for her to work with.
She had already previewed that shift in August, when she attended a Colts home game during the preseason in another blue-and-white outfit.
Owens signed a one-year deal with Indianapolis after spending the previous two seasons in Chicago. The Colts are his fifth NFL stop, following time with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers and Chicago.
The couple, who married in 2023, have kept showing up for each other’s biggest stages. Owens went to Paris to watch Biles compete at the 2024 Olympics, and Biles has continued to make NFL sideline appearances part of her own game-day routine while backing him.
Sunday gave them another first: Owens in a new uniform, Biles already dressed to match.

Zay Flowers turned a promising opening for Baltimore into an immediate concern for the Ravens on Sunday, leaving their Week 1 matchup with the Colts because of a hamstring injury. Before heading to the sideline, the second-year receiver was doing serious damage, piling up five catches for 150 yards and a touchdown as Baltimore tried to set the tone early.
Flowers was listed as questionable to return, and the Ravens said they were continuing to evaluate his status during the game.
