Jaguars Suddenly Face A Brian Thomas Jr. Deadline Decision

As the Kansas City Chiefs actively pursue a wide receiver to bolster their ailing offense, intriguing trade prospects with the Bills, Colts, and Jaguars could come to fruition by the November 10 deadline.

The Kansas City Chiefs are already working the phones ahead of the NFL trade deadline, and the search appears to be centered on one spot in particular: wide receiver.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter said on “The Pat McAfee Show” that Kansas City has been reaching out around the league as Nov. 10 approaches.

“They have been calling around, and I don’t think it would be a surprise to see them continue to attempt to add a wide receiver before the trade deadline two weeks from tomorrow,” Schefter said of the Chiefs on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

“I do think that they will be calling around for wide receivers, and they will attempt to look to upgrade that position,” he added.

The urgency makes sense. Rashee Rice is hurt, Xavier Worthy has also fallen short of expectations this season, and Tyquan Thornton is now dealing with a significant leg injury that will keep him out for several weeks. That leaves Kansas City thin at the position, with the room looking more vulnerable than dangerous.

There’s also the Tyreek Hill angle. The Chiefs reportedly showed interest in the former Kansas City receiver as a possible option, but his return remains a question mark. He is working back from the major knee injury he suffered last season, and there’s no certainty about when he’ll be ready or how effective he’ll be.

That’s why a trade feels like the more likely route, even if Hill eventually enters the mix too.

Among the names to watch are Buffalo’s Joshua Palmer, Indianapolis’ Keenan Allen and Jacksonville’s Brian Thomas Jr.

Palmer hasn’t popped up in trade chatter specifically, but his start in Buffalo has gone sideways. He’s been barely used, totaling just four catches for 117 yards.

He also remains a clear cut candidate in 2027, which gives the Bills a reason to consider moving him now and salvaging something from a rough free-agent signing. The question is whether Buffalo would send him to an AFC opponent like Kansas City.

Allen could become available if the Colts keep losing. On Sunday, Schefter and Ian Rapoport reported that Indianapolis might begin selling off pieces before the deadline, and Allen’s one-year deal makes him a logical name to surface in those talks.

Thomas is the most eye-catching possibility. He’s only 24 and had a 1,200-yard season in 2024, but his production has nosedived since then. He has become an afterthought in Jacksonville’s offense, and ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that “multiple league execs believe Jacksonville will seriously consider trading” the former first-round pick.

For now, those three stand out as the most realistic options for the Chiefs. And as the deadline gets closer, more names could easily enter the conversation.

Peyton Manning Just Sent A Clear Message About The Colts

The Colts decision to move on from Chris Ballard after a disappointing start immediately turned attention to the biggest name in franchise history, and Peyton Mannings name naturally surfaced as fans began wondering what kind of outsider could help shape the next era. Even with the front office vacancy creating plenty of speculation, the team has not made a move toward its former quarterback, and there is no indication that a reunion in that specific role is part of the immediate plan.

Mannings stance also makes the picture a little clearer for now. He is not looking to jump into an NFL front office job at this point, even as he has left the door open to future opportunities in the league if the right situation comes along. For the Colts, that means the search for a new direction remains in the hands of ownership and the people around it, without the easy headline answer many would have assumed was available. Colts Fans Are Boiling Over Shane Steichens Daniel Jones Stance

The Colts latest loss to Minnesota left the club sitting at 2-5, and the frustration around the building only deepened afterward. With the recent firing of general manager Chris Ballard already signaling a major shakeup, attention quickly turned to how the team would handle the quarterback position after another rough outing.

Shane Steichen offered a clear answer, saying he is sticking with Daniel Jones for now and still believes in him despite what happened on the field. Fans did not take the message lightly, especially after Jones was bottled up throughout the game and the offense again looked stuck, leaving the coachs patience as one of the biggest talking points around Indianapolis. Anthony Richardson Just Added To The Colts Biggest Uncertainty

The Colts already have enough questions swirling around their quarterback room, and Anthony Richardson Sr. has now added an off-field one to the mix. The backup quarterback was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession after a traffic stop in Carmel, Indiana, a development that immediately put the team in the uncomfortable position of having to wait and gather information while the legal process plays out.

Richardson briefly addressed the incident and framed it as an ongoing legal matter, while the Colts acknowledged the situation and said they were still working through the details. Any potential league discipline is expected to come later, after the legal case is resolved, leaving Indianapolis with another layer of uncertainty around a player whose status has already been one of the franchise's most closely watched storylines.
