The Indianapolis Colts are sending a trio of standouts to the 2025-26 Pro Bowl, and one of them is making a bit of franchise history.
Rookie tight end Tyler Warren has officially been added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster, joining running back Jonathan Taylor and left guard Quenton Nelson as the Colts’ representatives for the February 3 showcase in San Francisco. For Warren, it’s a milestone moment - he becomes just the second rookie tight end in Colts history to earn a Pro Bowl nod, following Hall of Famer John Mackey back in 1963.
Warren’s Pro Bowl selection comes after a breakout rookie campaign that saw him become a central figure in the Colts’ offense. Drafted 14th overall in 2025, Warren led the team in targets with 112, and finished second in receptions (76), receiving yards (817), and first downs through the air (42). He also found the end zone four times as a receiver, and added a rushing touchdown on six carries for eight yards - showing off the kind of versatility that’s increasingly valuable in today’s NFL.
His 76 catches and 817 yards weren’t just impressive - they set new rookie tight end records for the Colts. And with five total touchdowns, Warren finished just one shy of tying the franchise mark for rookie tight ends. That kind of production didn’t go unnoticed around the league.
Warren was originally tabbed as the AFC’s first alternate, but stepped into the Pro Bowl lineup after Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers was sidelined with a knee injury that landed him on injured reserve. That opened the door for Warren to become just the 18th rookie tight end in NFL history to make the Pro Bowl - a rare feat at a position that typically takes time to develop at the pro level.
Warren will line up with some of the league’s best at tight end, including Travis Kelce (Chiefs) and Trey McBride (Cardinals). George Kittle was also named to the Pro Bowl, but the 49ers star suffered a season-ending Achilles injury during the Wild Card round, making it all but certain he’ll be replaced.
While Warren is the new face among the Colts’ Pro Bowlers, Nelson and Taylor are no strangers to the honor.
Nelson continues to build on what’s shaping up to be a Hall of Fame-caliber career. This marks his eighth straight Pro Bowl selection - every year since he entered the league - and he added another Second-Team All-Pro nod to his résumé this season.
That’s six All-Pro selections total for Nelson: three First-Team, three Second-Team. He remains one of the most dominant and consistent interior linemen in football, anchoring the Colts’ offensive line with both power and poise.
Taylor, meanwhile, earns his third Pro Bowl appearance and second in as many seasons. The 2021 First-Team All-Pro led the NFL in rushing that year, and while he didn’t replicate that statistical dominance this season, he remained a key weapon in the Colts’ offense and one of the AFC’s premier backs.
This marks the second straight year the Colts have had three players in the Pro Bowl. In 2024, linebacker Zaire Franklin joined Nelson and Taylor for his first career selection. This time around, it’s Warren stepping into the spotlight - and if his rookie season is any indication, it might not be his last.
