The Indianapolis Colts have mapped out the themes for eight home dates at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2026, and the slate mixes season-long traditions with a few spotlight moments built around uniforms, causes and franchise history.
The team said Wednesday morning that its home opener against the Baltimore Ravens will come with special pregame festivities and fan experiences to mark the start of the Colts’ 19th season at Lucas Oil Stadium and 43rd in Indianapolis.
One of the biggest headline games on the schedule is the matchup with the Houston Texans, when the Colts will unveil their new NFL x Nike Rivalries uniform. The league-wide project is tied to division rivalries and community pride, and the design will be revealed later this year before it makes its debut on the field.
Another major moment is set for Adam Vinatieri’s Ring of Honor induction at Lucas Oil Stadium. Vinatieri, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026, played in 365 games over 24 seasons and won four Super Bowls with the Colts and New England Patriots. He is the league’s all-time scoring leader.
The Colts also listed Crucial Catch among the season’s themes. The initiative was created to fight cancer through early detection, risk reduction and awareness, with the league, the NFL Player Association and the American Cancer Society working to give people tools to better understand early detection and ways to reduce cancer risk.
Against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9, the Colts will go with a White Out and wear their white-on-white uniform, the look featured in the team’s Super Bowl XLI win. The team is also asking fans to help turn the stadium into an “unstoppable home field advantage” for that game.
The Cowboys game will also include Salute to Service, the NFL’s year-round effort to honor, empower and connect service members, veterans and their families. The league says the program is built on partnerships with nonprofits and organizations that support the military community around the world.
Kicking The Stigma is another theme on the schedule. The Colts’ mental health initiative is aimed at ending stigma and backing community organizations working in mental health and wellness. Since 2020, Kicking The Stigma has committed more than $32 million to expand treatment and research and raise awareness in Indiana and beyond.
The player-led My Cause My Cleats campaign will also be part of the home slate, with players wearing specially painted cleats to highlight the charitable organization or cause of their choice.
For the fourth season, the Colts will wear their Indiana Nights uniform, complete with the signature black helmet, against the Cincinnati Bengals. The alternate look is inspired by the blue and black of the Indiana night sky and includes the Colts’ Indiana C Logo as a nod to the home state and community.
The home schedule theme list closes with the regular season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars, giving fans one last chance to take in Colts football at Lucas Oil Stadium before the season ends.
