Alec Pierce isn't going anywhere, Colts fans. The talented wide receiver just inked a four-year, $116 million deal to stay with the Indianapolis Colts, despite having the chance to chase bigger offers elsewhere.

Pierce acknowledged exploring free agency but ultimately found re-signing with the Colts an easy decision, especially with quarterback Daniel Jones also returning to the fold.
Locking down the 25-year-old was a top priority for the Colts this offseason. Things got a bit playful when Sauce Gardner chimed in on social media with a cheeky suggestion: “Should I lock Alec Pierce in my basement and force him to sign the contract papers?”
Pierce, with his usual wit, responded to Gardner's joke after securing the contract. "I've been in there (basement) for the past two or three weeks. He has a golf simulator, so I've been working on the game a little bit, but other than that, it's good to see some sunlight," he quipped.
Just to clarify-Gardner didn’t actually hold Pierce hostage.
The Colts kicked off last season with promise but stumbled down the stretch, missing the playoffs for the fifth consecutive year. Despite being linked to teams like the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots, Pierce remains optimistic about the Colts' future.
“I believe in what we have going on here. I believe in our team.
I believe in the players we have in place,” Pierce shared. “I know we didn’t finish the way we wanted to, but I think I’m able to look back on that and see how we were playing and know we can be the best team in the NFL.”
His confidence is sky-high, and it's clear he's ready to help lift the Colts to new heights.
