Pacers Fans Finally Have A New Viewing Option With One Catch

Discover how the Indiana Pacers' new partnership with DAZN promises enhanced game access and innovative viewing options for fans starting this upcoming season.

The Indiana Pacers have found their new local streaming home, and the price points are now clear.

Pacers Sports & Entertainment announced Thursday that DAZN will carry the team’s regional games starting this season. A Pacers-branded service is set to go live inside the DAZN app in early September, giving fans another way to follow the team after Indiana spent months without a local television partner.

The setup includes a mix of free and paid access. Twenty-two regular-season games and all four preseason games will be free, and 15 of those 22 regular-season games are also expected to air over the air, though the Pacers have not yet announced that broadcast partner.

For fans in Indiana, Kentucky, Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri, the local package will include every Pacers game live or on demand through DAZN. Monthly Flex is priced at $19.99, while Monthly Flex Ultimate costs $24.99. Season Pass comes in at $119.99, with Season Pass Ultimate at $139.99.

There’s also an aggressive early offer for fans willing to commit before Oct. 15.

The Early Bird Season Pass will be available for $59.99, and the Ultimate version will be $79.99. Season ticket holders will receive a complimentary Season Pass, and DAZN will offer a seven-day free trial when the service launches.

“This partnership is about making Pacers basketball more accessible than ever before,” Pacers Sports & Entertainment president and CEO Mel Raines said. “Local sports broadcasting has evolved significantly over the last decade and so has the way people watch games. DAZN is a global leader in sports streaming, and its premium viewing experience gives our fans more flexibility and affordable access to Pacers basketball, while creating more opportunities to connect with the team.”

Indiana had been without a local TV partner since April, when Main Street Sports Group shut down FanDuel Sports Network Indiana. That outlet carried 72 regular-season games and all four preseason games in 2025-26.

The national TV side of the schedule stays separate. Indiana has 11 national television games in 2026-27, and matchups carried exclusively on ABC, ESPN, NBC, Peacock, or Prime Video will not be available on DAZN. Fans outside the Pacers’ home territory can still use NBA League Pass, and DAZN subscribers who travel beyond the territory can keep access for up to 30 days.

The broadcast crew will remain intact as well. Chris Denari, Quinn Buckner, Jeremiah Johnson, and Eddie Gill are all back, with Denari set to begin his 21st straight season on play-by-play.

DAZN continues to expand its NBA footprint. The platform has also picked up local rights for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, and Memphis Grizzlies, and it already carries MSG Networks and YES Network.

“We are excited to welcome the Indiana Pacers to our growing network of sports coverage in the US. The Pacers have a strong fanbase in a city that loves its teams, and we are ready to support those fans and bring in new ones by providing coverage and content throughout Indiana and the Midwest,” DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev said. “As the exclusive regional home for this upcoming season, our built-for-sport platform will make the viewer experience seamless and unforgettable.”

Indiana opens the regular season Oct. 21 at New Orleans and plays its home opener Oct. 23 against the Dallas Mavericks at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Tyrese Haliburton Sees A New Pacers Weapon Fans Havent Really Seen

Tyrese Haliburton is already looking ahead to what the Indiana Pacers could look like next season, and one of the biggest reasons for his optimism is a familiar kind of weapon he has not really had in his time here. He spoke recently about his excitement to share the floor with center Ivica Zubac, whose size and ability around the rim could give Indiana a different kind of pairing in the pick-and-roll.

Zubac arrived in a trade last season, but injury limited him to only five games, so Pacers fans barely got a glimpse of what that fit might look like. Haliburton also offered an update on his own recovery from an Achilles injury, saying he is working his way back and eager to return, which only adds to the intrigue around how the offense might evolve once both players are in the mix. Pacers Pressure Is Rising After Clevelands Latest Summer Move

Clevelands latest summer maneuver added another layer to a busy offseason across the East, and it does not help the Pacers margin for error. In a three-team trade, the Clippers got Max Strus, the Nuggets picked up future draft assets, and the Cavaliers landed Peyton Watson, while Washington came away with Tre Mann and a Clippers second-round pick in the deal for Cam Whitmore. Cleveland also plans to waive Whitmore, a reminder that the Cavaliers are still fine-tuning their roster as they keep shaping a group built to stay in the conference race.

For Indiana, the move lands with extra weight because the Pacers are not working with an endless stockpile of trade chips. Their front office has to be careful about when and how it acts, especially with rivals around the conference continuing to patch holes and add depth wherever they can. Each new transaction around Cleveland only sharpens the pressure on Indiana to find the right answer, because in a crowded East, standing still can feel a lot like falling behind. [Read more 🡒]
