Joining Indiana in this competitive race are Big Ten heavyweights like Penn State, Wisconsin, and Michigan State, along with Washington and Boston College. Interestingly, Maryland, despite extending an offer, didn’t make the final cut.
Talley-Rhodes is a 3-star talent, ranked as the 32nd best running back and 397th overall prospect in the 2027 class according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. If he commits, he’d be the first running back in Indiana’s 2027 class, joining other key recruits such as 3-star wide receiver Ja’Hyde Brown and 3-star quarterback Jameson Purcell.
