Indiana has locked in its nonconference slate for the 2026-27 season, and it features a little bit of everything: home dates in Bloomington, a pair of showcase games in Indianapolis and New York, and five matchups against high-major opponents before Big Ten play even begins.
The Hoosiers’ 12-game nonconference schedule starts Nov. 2, 2026, against Eastern Illinois in Bloomington. From there, Indiana will host Bellarmine on Nov. 5, then head to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis to face Syracuse on Nov. 9.
The next stretch keeps mixing in both familiar and marquee settings. Tennessee Tech comes to Bloomington on Nov. 12, before Indiana meets Arkansas at Madison Square Garden in New York on Nov. 17 and Kentucky at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Nov. 20.
The final six nonconference games are all on the home floor at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall: Jacksonville on Nov. 24, Bowling Green on Nov.
27, Western Illinois on Dec. 6, UCF on Dec.
12, Missouri on Dec. 18 and Fairleigh Dickinson on Dec. 22.
The Missouri game is listed as being finalized.
In all, Indiana has three neutral-site games and nine games in Bloomington. The schedule also includes five nonconference games against high-major opponents.
Once Big Ten play begins, the Hoosiers will add 20 conference games, giving them a 32-game regular season. That total includes 25 games against high-major teams.
The full 2026-27 schedule, including television assignments and tip times, is expected to be released next month.
