One Cubs fan managed to hijack the broadcast Friday night without saying a word. During Chicago’s game against the Twins, cameras caught a man in the stands wearing a shirt that read: “I got my prostate examined on Epstein Island.”
The image spread fast once a screenshot hit X, and plenty of viewers couldn’t believe it had made it onto live TV. The shirt became the kind of instant internet oddity that takes on a life of its own, with fans reacting as if they’d just stumbled onto the wildest character in the ballpark.
“You know when you see someone and you just say ‘I’d like to have a beer with that guy - I feel like he’s got a lot to say’,” one person wrote.
“Not the worst idea, he knew all the best scientists and doctors,” another user commented.
“You know some Karen was offended and let him know why. 😂,” a third person added.
“Guess who’s ordering one for a family trip to Mexico,” one fan wrote.
The shirt’s moment in the spotlight came during a rough night for Chicago. The Cubs fell 5-2 to the Minnesota Twins on Friday, with Ryan Jeffers cracking the game open on a three-run homer in the third inning. Bailey Ober handled the rest, striking out seven over 5 1/3 innings for Minnesota.
Chicago was back at Wrigley on Saturday trying to even the weekend series after dropping the opener. At the time of writing, the Cubs were leading the Twins 5-1.
