Illinois’ second training camp practice brought the kind of early August buzz that usually means one thing: the quarterback room is already taking shape.
On Tuesday evening at Gies Memorial Stadium, the Illini went through a session in helmets, shoulder pads and shorts, with media getting a look at the first six periods - roughly 30 minutes - of work.
