As the second round tips off, Boswell is expected to take on the challenging task of guarding Hill. This matchup could be pivotal as the No. 3 seed Illinois faces off against No. 11 seed VCU at 6:50 p.m.

CT, with a coveted spot in next week's Sweet Sixteen in Houston on the line. Hill is entering the game on a high, having delivered a season-best performance with 34 points against No. 6 seed North Carolina, a game where he led the Rams in a stunning comeback from a 19-point deficit.

Boswell, aware of the threat Hill poses, shared his thoughts: "He's cold. He's definitely, he's a really, really good player.

For me, just the biggest thing is being mentally focused. All of us, me, (Andrej Stojakovic), Keaton (Wagler) will get to take opportunities and turns to guard him.

But I think for us, I think we have a lot of options defensively that can just bring a challenge for someone like that. …I know he can shoot the lights out of that, out of the ball.

I know he's a very quick guard. He can get downhill to get to the rim.

He's a very good playmaker. I got to watch him a lot in high school.

I did watch a couple of their games. And we watched plenty of last night for against UNC."

Hill's stats speak volumes about his capabilities. Averaging 14.9 points and 2.9 assists per game, he's shooting a solid 46.7% from the floor and 37.1% from beyond the arc. His speed and agility have been known to trouble Illinois, making this matchup all the more intriguing.

As the teams prepare to battle it out, all eyes will be on how Boswell and his teammates handle Hill's explosive style. This game promises to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams eager to advance and keep their championship dreams alive.
