Myles Garrett and Will Anderson are wasting no time getting after it this offseason.
With the NFL season still more than two months out, the two edge rushers linked up for a workout under pass rush specialist Bradon Jordan and went through the same drills together. The clips showed Garrett, now with the Los Angeles Rams, and Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson working on ways to beat blockers by mixing power with sharp footwork.
The workout was enough to set off plenty of reaction online. Fans jumped into the comments after Life and Football posted the clip on X, and the responses came fast.
“Trading up to the number three pick for Anderson was so worth it,” one fan wrote.
“Sounds like a boxing match or some powerfully z type game lol,” a comment read.
“Pure destroyer mode. Looks like Kali for the gridiron,” one user commented.
“anderson looks fast asf,” posted another.
“Man these guys are elite,” a reaction read.
“Rams might go undefeated,” another fan said.
The buzz around the workout comes after both players turned in big 2025 seasons. Garrett made history with the Cleveland Browns, setting the record for most sacks in a single season with 23.0. He also finished with 60 combined tackles - 17 assisted and 43 solo - plus 33 tackles for loss before being traded to the Rams on June 1.
Anderson played in all 17 games for the Texans and put together a strong year of his own. The 24-year-old posted 54 combined tackles, including 35 solo, along with 12.0 sacks, 20 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles.

Texans Mock Roster Puts One Surprise Name In A Huge Role
A speculative look at the Texans offense has a few familiar names where you would expect them, with C.J. Stroud and Davis Mills holding down the quarterback spots and the rest of the unit built around a mix of established pieces, rookies and players trying to force their way onto the 53-man roster. The exercise is less about locking anything in than showing how wide open some of the battles still are as Houston sorts through the back end of its offensive depth chart.
The most intriguing part is how many of those jobs could go to players who are not the obvious choices on paper. Noah Whittington is penciled in for the No. 3 running back role, Cade Stover is projected into a hybrid fullback-type role to help him stick, Lewis Bond is in the mix for the final receiver spot, and Keylan Rutledge is forecast to jump a veteran at center. For a team trying to build the right mix around its young quarterback, those are the kinds of decisions that can quietly shape the whole offense. [Read more 🡒]
Texans Face A Right Tackle Decision That Could Define The Offense
Training camp is about to put a spotlight on one of the Texans most important camp battles, and it starts at right tackle. Trent Brown, the incumbent, has been taking most of the reps through OTAs and minicamp, while offseason signing Braden Smith has been working his way into the mix as Houston tries to settle on the best fit for a line that needs both stability and upside.
The choice is not just about who looks best in shorts and helmets. Houston has to weigh continuity, health and run-blocking fit before it hands over a job that can shape the offenses rhythm from the first snap of the season. Browns early lead matters, but Smiths presence gives the Texans a real decision to make once the pads come on and the evaluation gets more serious. [Read more 🡒]
