The Houston Texans have filled out their 53-man roster, and undrafted rookie defensive end Sabastian Harsh is on it.

Then I seen the I seen the roster get released, and I was like, Oh my gosh. Like, that is pretty cool, man,"
That moment meant plenty because of the work behind it. Harsh had been injured and missed the first preseason game, which put him behind early and made every snap after that matter even more. He didn’t have the luxury of easing in; he had to seize every chance that came his way.
He did exactly that against the Carolina Panthers in the second preseason game. Harsh turned in a loud performance with three tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, two quarterback hits, and one pass breakup. That kind of outing showed he could disrupt plays as both a pass rusher and a run defender.
That balance matters for a defensive lineman trying to stick in the NFL, and it likely played a role in DeMeco Ryans’ decision to keep him on the roster.
Even with the roster spot secured, Harsh isn’t treating this like a finish line. "Even still now, like, I haven't done it yet. So, still got a lot more work to do," Harsh said.
