The series wraps Sunday with Peter Lambert, who is set to make his first start of September after an August he’d probably like to erase. His most recent outing came against the New York Yankees, when he went 4.2 innings, allowed three hits, walked five and struck out six. Even with that uneven month behind him, Lambert has been one of the best starters in Houston’s rotation this season, and if the Astros need someone to steady the group now, he’s the one they’ll be counting on.
