Simone Biles is gearing up for another move as her husband, Jonathan Owens, signs with the Indianapolis Colts. Owens, who has been a solid presence in the NFL, is joining his third team in four years with a one-year deal from the Colts.
Previously with the Chicago Bears, Owens played in every game over the past two seasons, contributing significantly on special teams. In 2024, he was on the field for 40% of the Bears’ defensive snaps, but his role shifted more towards special teams in 2025. Over his time in Chicago, he racked up 68 tackles, forced a fumble, recovered two, and snagged an interception.
Before his stint with the Bears, Owens had spells with the Green Bay Packers and the Houston Texans. The Colts, in need of safety reinforcements after Nick Cross's departure to the Washington Commanders, saw Owens as a fitting addition.
Simone Biles, an Olympic legend, created quite a buzz when Owens first joined the Bears. She famously wore a jacket featuring Owens’ former Packers jersey, which didn’t sit well with some Chicago fans.
However, Biles quickly adapted, showcasing her support with Bears-themed outfits and becoming a familiar face on the sidelines. Her presence was felt so much that she even shared a moment with Bears' President and CEO, Kevin Warren, during the playoffs.
Now, with Owens heading to Indianapolis, the dynamic duo is set to embark on a new chapter with the Colts.
