Micah Parsons found himself on the sideline while the Green Bay Packers were getting steamrolled by the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football, and a video from the bench caught his teammates paying him no mind.
Atlanta was rolling to a 35-14 lead as of this writing, with Michael Penix Jr. making the most of his season debut by running the offense with poise and accuracy. Bijan Robinson was equally brutal on the ground, piling up 194 rushing yards and two touchdowns as the Falcons carved up Green Bay’s defense.
The Packers never found an answer. They were forced into a one-dimensional approach and couldn’t slow Atlanta in any phase of the game. In the middle of that mess, Parsons appeared to be trying to talk or interact on the sideline, but the camera showed teammates locked into the action or simply ignoring him.
The reason for the cold shoulder wasn’t clear. What was clear was the state of the game: Green Bay was getting blown out, and Parsons was stuck watching it unfold. He is currently on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list while recovering from a serious knee injury, and that injury cut his 2025 season short.
