Green Bay Packers fans will get an early one on Sunday, and they’ll also get a familiar voice they may not be thrilled to hear. The Week 2 matchup against the New York Jets is set for the noon Central window, with Jonathan Vilma and Kenny Albert on the call.
That booth is not exactly a fan favorite, and the game comes with the added wrinkle that plenty of viewers won’t see it on local FOX. For those fans, it’s either a few hours at the bar or a Sunday Ticket subscription.
Either way, the timing makes it one of just two Packers games in the first half of the season that kicks off at Noon Central. The other comes in two weeks, when Green Bay visits Tampa to play the Buccaneers.
The game is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026, with kickoff at 1:00 PM Eastern Time, which is 12:00 Noon Central. TV broadcast details, the U.S. broadcast map, online streaming, and radio information are all part of the setup, with the Packers Radio Network carrying the game on the audio side.
Green Bay enters as a 3.5-point favorite, and the over/under is set at 44.5. The last time these teams met came in Week 6 of 2022, when the Jets beat the Packers 27-10 in Green Bay. New York also owns the edge in the all-time series, leading 9-5-0.
Uniforms are part of the picture, too. The Jets will debut a new “White-out” alternate look, wearing it for the first time in today’s home opener. The Packers will counter in their standard home setup: green jerseys and gold pants.
