Jordan Love Reveals What Meant Most During Packers Tumultuous 2025 Season

Despite a late-season collapse, Jordan Love shares the personal achievement that made the 2025 campaign a pivotal step in his rise as a franchise quarterback.

The Green Bay Packers' 2025 season was a rollercoaster-one that started with real promise and ended in frustration. Sitting at 9-3-1 late in the year, Green Bay looked like a team ready to make noise in the NFC.

But after All-Pro pass rusher Micah Parsons went down, the wheels came off. The Packers didn’t win another game, closing out the regular season with a thud and bowing out of the playoffs without a fight.

Still, there was one major bright spot: Jordan Love. The third-year starter took a big step forward, even as the team around him faltered late. Love missed two games-one due to a concussion, another as a precaution with the postseason in mind-but when he was on the field, he looked like a quarterback coming into his own.

Appearing on Up and Adams during NFL Honors week, Love reflected on what he called the “best season” of his career. And honestly, it’s hard to argue with him.

“For me, the goal is to always get better and better,” Love said. “I thought this was my best season, just being a consistent player day in and day out, and trying to focus on little improvements every day.”

Consistency was the key word. Love completed 66.3% of his passes-a career high-and threw for 3,381 yards.

More importantly, he took care of the football: 27 touchdowns to just six interceptions. That kind of efficiency is what separates promising young QBs from franchise cornerstones.

His passer rating? A rock-solid 101.2.

Compare that to his first two seasons as the full-time starter, when he completed 63.7% of his passes and averaged 11 interceptions per year. The growth is real, and it’s measurable.

What stood out most in 2025 wasn’t just the numbers-it was the poise. Love looked more comfortable in the pocket, more confident in his reads, and more in command of the huddle. He moved better too, showing improved mobility after dealing with knee and groin issues in 2024.

The Packers’ late-season collapse will sting all offseason, especially considering how close they were to locking up the NFC North. But the bigger picture is this: Jordan Love is trending in the right direction. If he continues on this trajectory, it won’t be long before he’s in the conversation with the league’s top quarterbacks-and Green Bay is back in the hunt for a Super Bowl.
