The Green Bay Packers left Thursday night with more than a loss on their hands. Atlanta’s 35-14 win at Lambeau Field pushed Green Bay to 1-2 and added another rough chapter to a season that has already started with plenty of frustration.
Jordan Love spent much of the night under pressure as the Packers struggled to get their offense moving. He finished 28-of-53 for 312 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, but the numbers did little to change the mood after another uneven outing from Green Bay.
That performance even led Lil Wayne to float a different name at quarterback: Darian Mensah.
“Mensah would look great in green and yellow,” Weezy wrote in his post on X (formerly Twitter).
Mensah has been one of the early stories of the college season at Miami, where he has helped the team jump to a 3-0 start. The 21-year-old has completed 71-of-79 passes for 873 yards, 11 touchdowns, and no interceptions. He still has another year of college eligibility left, but he is already being talked about as a blue chip NFL Draft prospect.
The post quickly picked up steam online and drew plenty of reactions.

“Love was good with an oline…. I KNOW… instead of fixing the problem, let’s draft another QB to get murdered!

“How about some o-line men? You think Mensah is doing anything with this line? No one is,” another user wrote.
Wayne’s connection to the Packers goes back to 1997, when his father brought home team merchandise from the Super Bowl and sparked his interest in the franchise. That fandom later showed up in his music through “Green and Yellow.”
Now Love and Green Bay turn the page to Week 4, when they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
