“That’s just me being as authentic as I can be,” Doubs said. “Like, as much as I want to be there, I am not saying everybody dumb, but we are all aware of the situation.
There’s a bunch of wide receivers in that room and anybody in that room can go. That’s just part of this league, man.
You never know.”
That kind of honesty - raw, unfiltered, and grounded in the business side of football - is something fans don’t always get to hear. Doubs isn’t bitter.
He’s just being real. He knows the numbers, knows the depth chart, and understands that the NFL doesn’t wait around for sentiment.
Still, he made it clear: if he had his pick, Green Bay would be the place to be.
When asked if the Packers gave him the best shot at winning a Super Bowl in 2026, his answer was short and certain: “Yes sir.”
And it’s not hard to see why. The Packers are building something special.
If they stay healthy, the offense is loaded. Jordan Love has taken a massive step forward under center.
Watson and Reed bring speed and explosiveness, while Josh Jacobs adds a physical edge to the run game. Tight end Tucker Kraft is emerging as a legitimate weapon.
And on defense, the addition of Micah Parsons changes everything - a true game-wrecker who can tilt the field in Green Bay’s favor.
So yes, the Packers are very much in the Super Bowl conversation - and Doubs knows it. That’s what makes this potential split so bittersweet. He’s been part of the climb, and now he might have to watch the summit from somewhere else.
