Green Bay Packers Grades Leaked: Massive 2026 Improvements Needed

Leaked NFLPA report cards reveal urgent areas for improvement within the Green Bay Packers organization ahead of the 2026 season.

Earlier today, news broke that Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur received less-than-stellar marks on the annual NFLPA report cards. These evaluations, gathered from players across the league, offer insights into various facets of NFL organizations.

Although traditionally made public, recent efforts by NFL owners have kept these results under wraps. However, ESPN's Kalyn Kahler managed to obtain and share the grades for all 32 teams.

The Packers' report card reveals several areas ripe for improvement.

Green Bay Packers NFLPA Report Card for the 2025 Season

Here's how the Packers fared according to the report:

  • Treatment of Families: C+
  • Home Game Field: C+
  • Food/Dining Area: B+
  • Nutritionist/Dietician: B
  • Locker Room: A
  • Training Room: C
  • Weight Room: A-
  • Strength Coaches: B
  • Position Coaches: B+
  • Offensive Coordinator: C
  • Defensive Coordinator: A-
  • Special Teams Coordinator: B+
  • Team Travel: B-
  • Head Coach: B-
  • General Manager: B+
  • Team Ownership: A-

While these grades might seem concerning at first glance, it's important to add some context. Green Bay's overall ranking places them in the bottom third of the league. Yet, it's worth noting that the Miami Dolphins, who topped the overall grades, recently revamped their leadership by bringing in former Packers staff.

The Packers' training room received a low mark, but proactive steps were already underway to renovate and upgrade the facilities before the report card was even released. This mirrors last year's situation with the locker room, which has since become one of the league's best.

Special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia earned a commendable grade, though he's recently departed from the team, much to fans' approval.

An intriguing aspect is LaFleur's drop from an A- in 2024 to a B- in 2025. Despite this, most Packers players have expressed strong support for extending his contract. It raises questions about whether players departing in free agency or those facing cuts might have influenced his rating.

Other notable coaching grades include Jonathan Gannon, now with the Packers as defensive coordinator, who received a B+ from his Arizona Cardinals players. Meanwhile, Jim Harbaugh of the Los Angeles Chargers, known for his popularity among players, surprisingly received a C+.

Overall, while the Packers have areas to address, the organization seems committed to making necessary improvements.
