George Kittle Put Tucker Kraft On Blast In Hilarious Exchange

George Kittle's humorous exchange with Tucker Kraft over a fake TikTok account shifts to a serious conversation as Kittle champions for player safety on natural grass fields.

George Kittle couldn’t resist getting in a little joke at Tucker Kraft’s expense this week, turning a harmless social media mix-up into a quick reminder of the tight end bond that runs through the league.

It started when fans noticed a TikTok account under Kraft’s name that had become unusually active, piling up 280.5k followers and 1.6 million likes while also engaging with comments. Kraft addressed the situation on X on Tuesday to clear things up.

Kittle, never one to pass up a chance for a prank, jumped in with a sarcastic line aimed at the Packers tight end.

"Suuuuure you dont. You just messaged me asking to venmo you to help fix a car tire!" Kittle tweeted.

The exchange fit the relationship the two have built away from the field. Kraft has spent back-to-back offseasons learning from Kittle at Kittle’s annual Tight End U summit, and he has openly treated the 49ers star as a model for his own game. Kraft has tried to take pieces of Kittle’s style with him, especially the run-blocking and the physical yards-after-catch approach that make Kittle such a problem for defenses.

Kittle was back in the news for a very different reason, too, as he took aim at the NFL’s continued use of artificial turf. In comments shared by NFL insider Ari Meirov on Friday, Kittle pointed to the natural grass surfaces installed for FIFA World Cup matches and questioned why the league hasn’t made the same move.

"We've made it clear that we prefer grass fields," Kittle said. "We know it's better on our bodies and clearly, we know it's possible based on everything that went into putting down grass fields for the World Cup in each stadium.

"At this point, it comes down to the NFL making it a priority and choosing to invest in us as players because our bodies are out business, which they get to capitalize on!"

Kittle’s stance lines up with a broader push from players and the NFL Players Association, both of which have pressed for natural grass instead of synthetic surfaces.

Packers Suddenly Have A Real Shot At A Major Offensive Upgrade

The Packers interest in Jonathan Taylor is not a new one, and it makes sense from Green Bays side. Taylor is heading into the final year of his contract with Indianapolis in 2026, and CBS Sports has floated the idea that his situation could become one worth watching as the Colts sort through both roster direction and long-term money. For a Green Bay offense that has leaned on Josh Jacobs but still has room to think bigger at running back, Taylors combination of rushing production and passing-game value is the kind of upgrade that would change the conversation.

There is also some history here, which is part of what gives this storyline extra legs. Brian Gutekunst had already reached out to Colts general manager Chris Ballard in 2023 about Taylor, only to find Indianapolis asking for Christian Watson in return. A lot can change between now and then, especially if Taylors camp starts looking at the market more aggressively, and that is why this one feels worth keeping on the radar even before anything actually materializes. Packers Fans Wont Like Who Detroit Could Target In Green Bay

The Lions are suddenly in the market for cornerback help after releasing Terrion Arnold following his arrest on multiple felony charges, and the search has already widened beyond one obvious name. Detroit has reportedly checked in with the Browns on Denzel Ward, but it may also have a cheaper path to explore as it looks for a veteran answer in the secondary.

For Green Bay, the uncomfortable part is that the discussion could eventually land closer to home. Carrington Valentine is entering free agency and carries a modest base salary under the proven-performance escalator, which makes him the kind of player another team could view as attainable if the price is right. An inter-division trade would still be unusual, and if Detroit gets serious, the Packers would likely have to decide whether to let a rival make the first real offer. [Read more 🡒]
