Micah Gordon’s rise picked up another gear at Peach Jam, and now the PSA Cardinals point guard has a UConn offer to show for it.
The Class of 2027 guard has been flashing all summer, and his recent run in Las Vegas for EYBL Session 4 and at Peach Jam pushed his national profile even higher. Gordon was at the center of PSA’s gritty win over JET Academy, finishing with 24 points and five assists while repeatedly getting downhill, navigating traffic, and setting the pace for a breakneck attack.
UConn head coach Danny Hurley and associate head coach Kimani Young were both there to watch, along with a crowded group of high-major coaches. On Tuesday, the Huskies joined the mix with an offer.
Gordon’s Las Vegas outing may have been the loudest statement yet. The blurrish-quick 5-foot-11 guard, who is now headed to Spire Academy in Ohio under Kevin Boyle, put up 29 points in PSA’s 78-71 win over AB Elite. He went right at No. 1 national recruit Beckham Black and kept forcing the issue at the line, making 9 of his first 10 free throws before finishing 17-for-19 overall.
PSA also got a key fourth-quarter lift from Class of 2028 recruit Colton Hiller. The 6-foot-5 two-guard knocked down a midrange pull-up off an old school crossover, then followed with a transition layup that helped PSA stretch the lead to seven midway through the final quarter.
Hiller has been building his own national case after showing promise while playing up as a freshman at last season’s Peach Jam, and this summer he has continued to score at all three levels across a demanding EYBL schedule. That run has brought recent offers from Michigan and Kentucky.
Another name climbing fast is AB Elite forward Benji Berrouet. The 6-foot-8, 230-pound big has been turning heads with a strong mid-post game and a presence that can block shots and alter them, too.
He posted multiple double-doubles during Peach Jam and had one of his best outings against JL3 with 19 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks. Now at Dynamic Prep, Berrouet has piled up roughly 25-plus offers, with Houston, Michigan, Miami, Kentucky, Texas, Alabama, Vanderbilt and Texas Tech among the schools that have recently offered him.

Lucai Anderson is taking another big step in a fast-rising basketball path, announcing that he will spend his senior season at IMG Academy in Florida. The Class of 2027 four-star guard already built a strong rsum at Trinity Christian in Texas, where he averaged 21.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game and earned first-team All-State honors, and his profile has only grown with a growing list of college suitors and a strong run with Germanys U-18 national team at the Albert Schweitzer Tournament.
For Gonzaga fans tracking the national recruiting board, Anderson is the kind of high-upside name who keeps showing up in the same conversations as the elite prospects.
