Gonzagas Pac-12 Era Will Bring A New Look To Bulldogs Jerseys

As Gonzaga Men's Basketball embarks on its inaugural Pac-12 season, a new jersey patch partnership with Altana symbolizes a forward-thinking alliance between sports and global trade innovation.

Gonzaga men’s basketball is adding a new name to its jerseys, and the school says the deal points to where the program is headed next.

Altana, described as the world’s first AI network for global trade, will serve as Gonzaga’s official jersey patch partner for the 2026-27 season. Its logo will appear on the Bulldogs’ game jerseys, giving the company a visible spot with one of college basketball’s most recognizable programs.

Gonzaga Athletic Director Chris Standiford called the company “an exceptional organization that represents innovation and forward thinking,” and said the school is “excited to welcome them as a partner of Gonzaga Athletics and Gonzaga Basketball.” He added, “As we enter a new era for Gonzaga Athletics and begin competition in the Pac-12, we are grateful for Altana's support and belief in our student-athletes and our program. We look forward to building a strong partnership together.”

The timing matters, too. The partnership starts as Gonzaga plays its first season in the Pac-12 Conference, a move the school says opens a new chapter and expands the program’s national platform.

Head coach Mark Few said, “We're excited to have Altana represented on our jerseys this season.” He added, “They're an incredibly innovative and successful company, and we appreciate their support of Gonzaga Basketball and our student-athletes. It's an exciting time for our program, and we're looking forward to representing Altana on the court.”

Altana’s business is built around helping importers, suppliers, logistics providers and customs agencies work from the same product information. The company says that approach helps businesses deal with global trade and tariff complexity while building more resilient supply chains. It also says government agencies use its platform to design and enforce trade and economic security policies.

Evan Smith, Altana’s CEO and co-founder, said, “At Altana, our mission is to fix globalization.” He continued, “It's a big goal, and we're drawn to teams that take on hard things, punch above their weight, and win through trust and collaboration.

Gonzaga has done exactly that for twenty-seven straight years, turning itself from an underdog into a perennial national contender. We're proud to be their first jersey sponsor and to stand behind a program built to win, year after year.”

Deana Barnes, executive vice president, sports properties, Learfield, said, “Altana and Gonzaga are teaming up at an exciting time, creating a strong bond with a storied and nationally recognized program and their fan base.” She added, “Being stitched into the fabric of Gonzaga Basketball gives Altana a consistent and valued presence throughout the college basketball season and delivers a direct connection to the passionate Bulldog fanbase. We're proud to help bring the partnership to life.”

The sponsorship was arranged through Gonzaga Sports Properties, the local Learfield team and exclusive multimedia rights holder that handles sponsorship agreements for Gonzaga Athletics.

Gonzaga Still Faces An Eligibility Cloud Over Two Key Players

A hearing in Santa Clara County this week kept the spotlight on Gonzaga players Xaivian Lee and Ines Bettencourt, whose push for a fifth year of college eligibility remains tied up in a lawsuit against the NCAA. The session was aimed at a preliminary injunction, and for now the case sits in a holding pattern while both players continue to move through team activities under a temporary restraining order.

No ruling came down at the hearing, which means the uncertainty around their status is still hanging over Gonzaga as the season gets closer. A continuation is set for October 20, leaving the Bulldogs to wait on a legal process that could determine whether Lee and Bettencourt are cleared to keep practicing and taking part in upcoming events as the case unfolds. Gonzagas First Pac-12 Schedule Just Revealed A Tough New Reality

Gonzagas first season in the Pac-12 now has a complete shape, with the conference releasing its mens basketball schedule and the Bulldogs filling in the rest of a 31-game regular season. The slate shows the kind of transition that comes with a new league home: 16 conference games in a double round-robin format, plus at least 15 nonconference dates that still have to be navigated around a packed winter calendar.

For Gonzaga, the release does more than settle dates on paper. It clarifies where the biggest tests will land, when the conference grind begins, and how much room there is for the Bulldogs to build momentum before the Pac-12 Tournament. The full schedule gives Mark Fews team its first real look at what life in the league will demand, and it leaves one obvious question hanging in the air: how quickly can Gonzaga turn a new setting into a familiar routine? Gonzagas 2026-27 Schedule Sets Up Several Massive Early Tests

Gonzagas 2026-27 mens basketball slate is now in place after the Pac-12 released its conference schedule, and it sets up a heavyweight start to the season. The Bulldogs will go through two exhibition games, 15 non-conference matchups and 16 league games before the conference tournament in Las Vegas, with the early portion of the schedule loaded with the kind of opponents that tend to tell a program plenty about where it stands.

Purdue, Kansas State, Michigan State, Oregon and Duke are all on the list, giving Mark Fews team little room to ease into the year. The season opener has also been announced, but the broader picture is already clear: Gonzaga will be tested quickly, and those early results should shape the conversation around a team that expects to be in the spotlight from the start.
