Gonzagas 2026-27 Schedule Sets Up Several Massive Early Tests

Gonzaga's 2026-27 basketball schedule highlights the Bulldogs' debut Pac-12 conference clashes, non-conference rivals, and key matchups in an exciting season lineup.

Gonzaga’s 2026-27 schedule is finally complete, and the full path is now in place for Mark Few’s team from the first exhibition night to the Pac-12 tournament in Las Vegas.

The Pac-12 unveiled its conference slate on Wednesday, setting the league schedule from Jan. 6 through March 6. That release also allowed Gonzaga to lock in the rest of its non-conference dates, including a second exhibition game against Lewis-Clark State and a home meeting with Incarnate Word that had been floating in a different window before Wednesday.

The Bulldogs will play two exhibition games, 15 non-conference games and 16 Pac-12 games before heading to the conference tournament. Game times and TV details for the Pac-12 schedule, along with most of the non-conference dates, still have not been announced.

The league format is straightforward with nine teams: everybody plays everybody twice, home and away, for 16 total games. Gonzaga opens conference play on Wednesday, Jan. 6, with a trip to Pullman to face Washington State.

From there, the league schedule settles into a familiar rhythm. Gonzaga has six Wednesday games - Jan. 6 at Washington State, Jan. 13 at Fresno State, Jan. 27 vs.

Fresno State, Feb. 10 at Boise State, Feb. 17 vs. Washington State and March 3 vs.

Oregon State - and six Saturday games - Jan. 9 vs. Colorado State, Jan. 16 vs.

Boise State, Feb. 6 at San Diego State, Feb. 13 vs. Utah State, Feb. 27 vs.

San Diego State and March 6 at Colorado State.

There are also four conference games that fall outside that pattern: Thursday, Jan. 21 at Utah State; Sunday, Jan. 24 at Oregon State; Thursday, Feb. 4 vs. Texas State; and Sunday, Feb. 25 at Texas State.

Gonzaga’s first Pac-12 home game comes on Saturday, Jan. 9 against Colorado State. Senior night is set for Wednesday, March 3 at home against Oregon State.

Wednesday’s release filled in several key non-conference pieces as well. The Zags will now host Lewis-Clark State in an exhibition on Wednesday, Oct. 28, four days after their road exhibition against Arkansas in Fayetteville and five days before the season opener against Purdue in Las Vegas.

Incarnate Word is now scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 9, moving later than the previously reported Nov. 10-11 window. That adjustment leaves Gonzaga with just four games before heading to Las Vegas for the Player’s Era Festival: Nov. 2 vs.

Purdue, Nov. 7 vs. New Mexico State, Nov. 14 vs.

LSU and Nov. 17 vs. Montana State.

The Zags then face a packed stretch in December, with four games in 10 days from Dec. 2 through Dec. 12.

That run includes Eastern Oregon at home on Dec. 2, UCLA in Anaheim on Dec.

5, Incarnate Word on Dec. 9 and Creighton on Dec. 12.

After that, Gonzaga gets a break before finishing the month. The Bulldogs play Michigan State on Dec. 19 in Palm Springs, then have 12 days off over Christmas before closing 2026 against Cornell on Dec. 31.

A first look at the team comes this Saturday, Oct. 3, at Kraziness in the Kennel. The event begins at 2:00 PM PT and will be shown on SWX locally.

Nov. 2 vs. Purdue Boilermakers (4:30 PM PT at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV)

Nov. 24 vs. Kansas State Wildcats (9:30 PM, Players Era, Las Vegas, NV)

Nov. 26 vs. Alabama or Baylor (Players Era, Las Vegas, NV)

Dec. 19 vs. Michigan State Spartans (Palm Springs, CA)

Jan. 30 vs. Oregon Ducks (Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle, WA)

Feb. 20 vs. Duke Blue Devils (Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, MI)

March 9-13 Pac-12 Conference Tournament (Las Vegas, NV)

Gonzaga Still Faces An Eligibility Cloud Over Two Key Players

A hearing in Santa Clara County this week kept the spotlight on Gonzaga players Xaivian Lee and Ines Bettencourt, whose push for a fifth year of college eligibility remains tied up in a lawsuit against the NCAA. The session was aimed at a preliminary injunction, and for now the case sits in a holding pattern while both players continue to move through team activities under a temporary restraining order.

No ruling came down at the hearing, which means the uncertainty around their status is still hanging over Gonzaga as the season gets closer. A continuation is set for October 20, leaving the Bulldogs to wait on a legal process that could determine whether Lee and Bettencourt are cleared to keep practicing and taking part in upcoming events as the case unfolds. Gonzagas Next Pac-12 Step Comes With One Big Roster Question

Gonzagas move into the Pac-12 era is starting to take shape off the court, too, with the program lining up a jersey patch sponsorship with Altana for the 2026-27 season. At the same time, the 16-man roster for that season is already live, giving fans an early look at what the next version of the Bulldogs could look like as the transition nears.

The catch is that the roster still comes with some uncertainty attached, since a few players are listed with eligibility questions hanging over them. The next chance to get a closer read comes October 3, when Kraziness in the Kennel is set for the Kennel with tickets going on sale October 1, and four-star recruit Gene Roebuck III will be on campus for an official visit, adding another layer of intrigue to an already important weekend.
