The Clippers and Warriors are taking their 2026-27 preseason show on the road - all the way to Hawaii.
Los Angeles and Golden State will both open training camp in the islands before facing off in Honolulu on Sunday, October 4, in a preseason game at Bankoh Arena at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. The matchup is set for 4 p.m. PDT and will be Golden State’s first of six preseason games.
For the Clippers, Hawaii is becoming a familiar stop. They’ll hold their sixth training camp there since 2017, beginning after Media Day at Intuit Dome on Monday, September 28. From Tuesday, September 29 through Saturday, October 3, the team will work at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Golden State is making the same trip during that same five-day window. The Warriors will have their annual Media Day at Chase Center in San Francisco on September 28, then head to BYU-Hawaii for camp. The franchise has trained on Oahu five previous times, with sessions at the Cannon Activities Center in Laie in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2024.
The game in Honolulu also gives Hawaii basketball fans a chance to see both NBA teams in person.
University of Hawaii season-ticket holders will have access to an exclusive presale for the Clippers-Warriors game starting Wednesday, September 2.
Golden State’s other preseason dates include a home game against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 6, a road game against the Portland Trail Blazers on October 7, a home matchup with the Sacramento Kings on October 10, a Lakers game in Las Vegas on October 13 and a home rematch with Portland on October 16.
The Clippers have two other preseason games announced so far: a matchup with the Toronto Raptors in Vancouver on October 10 as part of the NBA Canada Games 2026 presented by Bell, and a home game against the Denver Nuggets at Intuit Dome on October 14. Their full preseason schedule has not been released yet.
Golden State’s October 16 game lands five days before its regular-season opener against the Lakers. Last season, the Warriors played five preseason games, with three at home and two on the road.
