Stephen Curry Updates Fans on His Knee Ahead of Playoff Push

Stephen Curry's injury status raises questions about his return and the Warriors' playoff hopes as the season resumes post-All-Star break.

The 2026 All-Star festivities might be in the rearview mirror, but for the Golden State Warriors, all eyes remain on the health of their superstar, Stephen Curry. Curry, who suffered a knee injury just before the break, had to sit out the All-Star game, leaving fans eager for updates on his recovery.

In a recent conversation, Curry shared that his main priority is to be playoff-ready. “Feeling good,” he mentioned.

“It’s not going the way I wanted, but we’re heading in the right direction. The goal is to be healthy for the playoffs and be available when it matters most.

I’d love to be playing right now, but hopefully, it won’t be too much longer.”

Curry has been out since January 30, and the Warriors faced the Boston Celtics post-break without him. His potential return for the matchup against the Denver Nuggets remains uncertain. Missing more games could impact his eligibility for All-NBA honors, given the league’s 65-game requirement.

Beyond his injury, discussions have reignited around Curry’s championship prospects with Golden State. On ESPN’s First Take, Kendrick Perkins expressed skepticism about Curry’s chances of winning another title with the team, stating, “Those days are over.”

Curry has led the Warriors to four championships alongside Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Yet, despite early season optimism, recent performances suggest that capturing a fifth ring might be a tougher journey than anticipated.
