Steph Curry Stuns Fans Singing During Knicks-Warriors Game Sidelines

Steph Curry brings humor and high spirits to the sidelines, lifting his team even while on the mend.

Even while sidelined, Steph Curry knows how to keep the spotlight on him. During the Warriors' game against the Knicks, Curry, recovering from a knee injury since January, brought some extra flair to the sidelines with his dance moves and a heartfelt rendition of Natasha Bedingfield's “Unwritten.”

Curry's been out due to patellofemoral pain syndrome, but that hasn't stopped him from being a presence. Fans on social media couldn't help but notice, with one commenting, “He badly wants to play.” And it's true-his energy is infectious.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr acknowledges the impact of Curry's presence, even off the court. “Just feels better when he’s in the room,” Kerr shared.

“He was in our meeting today. He got a workout in this morning.

So he’s trending in the right direction, and he’s in good spirits. And just having him on the trip is important for our morale.”

While his sideline antics are entertaining, there's no denying the Warriors miss his on-court magic. Kerr reflected on the extended absence, noting, “He’s just one of one, and this is the longest stretch that I can remember being without him since 2020.” That was when Curry missed most of the season with a broken hand.

Curry hasn't played since January 30, but he recently spoke with The Athletic's Nick Friedell about his return. “Before next year,” Curry said optimistically.

He emphasized the importance of recovering fully before hitting the court again, saying, “Can I play safely? Be myself out there and not put myself in danger short term or long term?”

Despite the Warriors' narrow 107-110 loss to the Knicks, Curry remains hopeful about the team's future. “We’d love to see guys in a playoff series and take a swing,” he said.

“Hopefully, see this team that’s currently constructed healthy for a stretch to learn as much as we can and compete. That’s who we are.”

As the Warriors continue their road trip, next facing the Celtics, fans and teammates alike are eagerly awaiting Curry's return to the hardwood.
