The Golden State Warriors are facing a tough setback with the news that Moses Moody will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury. Moody was having a standout year, providing a rare bright spot for Warriors fans amidst a challenging season.

After the injury, fans flooded social media with support for Moody, and on Sunday, he shared his gratitude with a heartfelt message. "I appreciate all of the love," Moody wrote.

"Every challenge I’ve been through in life, I’m glad I went through. I’m sure I’ll feel the same about this."

The injury occurred during a game against the Dallas Mavericks last Monday. It was a non-contact incident as Moody attempted a dunk on a fast break, forcing him to leave the game.

A few days later, it was confirmed that he had successful knee surgery. Before exiting, Moody had put up an impressive 23 points, three rebounds, and three assists in 34 minutes.

Drafted 14th overall in 2021, Moody was truly coming into his own this season. He played in 60 games, starting 49 of them-a personal best.

Averaging a career-high 12.1 points per game, he reached double-digit scoring for the first time. His shooting stats were impressive: 44% from the field, a career-high 40.1% from beyond the arc, and 77% from the free-throw line.

Additionally, he contributed 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.

Moody's growth this season has been a beacon of hope for the Warriors, and his absence will certainly be felt. His ability to rise to the occasion and his positive outlook suggest that he'll tackle this challenge with the same determination he's shown on the court.
