Georgia Tech’s matchup with Colorado is shaping up as more than just a game-day visit window. The Jackets will have a long list of 2028 targets on campus, including several prospects with major Power Four attention and a pair of familiar family ties.
One of the most notable names is Isaiah Reeves, the Mountain View safety and brother of Georgia Tech commit Elijah Reeves. Isaiah will be on the Flats for the first of six planned visits, with Tennessee, Georgia, Clemson, Florida, Kentucky and Virginia Tech also on his schedule. He already holds 29 offers.
Elijah Reeves will be there too. The Georgia Tech wide receiver commit, who is the twin brother of Isaiah, is set to attend the game and also plans to be at the Tennessee game. Reeves pledged to Georgia Tech in June after a spring visit.
Georgia Tech will also get a look from Havyn Searels, the Dalton receiver who currently has the Jackets as his only scheduled visit. Searels has 13 offers, with his latest coming from Wake Forest, and Georgia Tech is the early favorite for the 6-foot-5 receiver.
Another top in-state target headed to Atlanta is Tory Clark, the Woodward Academy defensive tackle who has drawn national attention. Clark already has 26 offers and is lined up for visits to Oregon, Washington, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Michigan and Arizona State after his trip to Tech. The Jackets are trying to make a breakthrough with a school where they’ve had very little recruiting success.
TJ Brandon, another Douglas County prospect, will also be on campus. Florida State is currently his leader, and he’ll be there for the Seminoles’ opener before visiting Georgia Tech for the Colorado game. His other planned stops include LSU, SMU, Ole Miss, Georgia, Florida, Auburn and North Carolina.
North Atlanta cornerback Bryce Willingham is another big name in the mix. He has 31 offers, and his recruitment may come down to Georgia Tech and Georgia. After visiting Florida State, he’ll be at Georgia Tech for the Colorado game before heading to Georgia and Mississippi State.
John Matthews, the Newnan wide receiver, will make his first visit to Georgia Tech. His offer sheet includes Ohio State, Georgia, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee, and Ohio State is the only other visit he has lined up right now. Matthews is also a teammate of quarterback commit Brodie Campbell.
Georgia Tech will also host Quincy Mills, the Jasper, Tennessee athlete who plays both sides of the ball and may end up at wide receiver. Mills has 26 offers, with Mississippi State, Indiana and Virginia Tech among the schools showing the most interest.
And yes, there’s another set of twins in the mix. Quinn Pollock and Cole Pollock, the McEachern defensive backs, will be on campus as well. Their visit list also includes Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
