The Georgia wide receiver commit picked up his fourth star on the 247Sports composite rankings, a notable bump for a class that has drawn plenty of heat all offseason. The Bulldogs currently sit at No. 12 in the class rankings, and a big part of the frustration around the class has been the number of three-star pledges in the group.
Rawlins’ rise gives Kirby Smart and Georgia a cleaner look on the board, but it also reinforces the larger point: the Bulldogs have made a habit of betting on players who keep climbing after they commit. Rawlins chose Georgia on May 31 over Ohio State, Indiana and Arkansas, and his stock moving up now fits the pattern.
