Georgia’s dominant afternoon against Arkansas was interrupted by a pair of injury scares, and the biggest one involved starting running back Nate Frazier.
Frazier went down during Georgia’s first drive of the second half after getting up slowly from a tackle. He left the field for a few plays, returned, then was slow to rise again after being tackled on the second-to-last play of the drive. Television shots showed him limping to the sideline, and the injury appeared serious enough that he entered the locker room later in the sequence.

But the optimism didn’t last long. Soon after, Frazier was spotted heading to the locker room again, still walking on his own but clearly favoring the leg.

Even with that uncertainty, it would make little sense for Georgia to push him back into the game. The Bulldogs had the result in hand, and Frazier had already done plenty of damage before leaving. He finished with 75 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, keeping his strong start to the season intact.
Georgia does have options behind him. Chauncey Bowens and Dwight Phillips should see more work if needed, and the Bulldogs have enough depth to get through this game without issue. The bigger concern is what Frazier’s injury could mean moving forward.
That question becomes more important with Georgia’s schedule getting tougher after Saturday. Next up is a home game against Oklahoma, and that matchup is the first one on the calendar where Georgia could realistically lose. If Frazier is sidelined, that would be a significant blow.
Georgia also had another injury situation to monitor. Transfer wide receiver Isiah Canion was hurt in the first half against Arkansas and did not return, leaving his status for next week unclear as well.
Kirby Smart is expected to address both injuries after the game, and Georgia will be hoping for good news on two players who matter a lot more once the competition gets steeper.
