While Georgia might not be the clear favorite, the Bulldogs are very much in the mix for one of the nation's top offensive linemen, Kennedy Brown. Ranked as the No. 28 overall prospect and the No. 3 offensive tackle, Brown has shown keen interest in Georgia, visiting multiple times over the past year.
His spring visit last year offered him a firsthand look at the Bulldogs' coaching style during practice. He returned in the fall to witness Georgia's performance against Texas, a game that surely left an impression.
Brown has plans to head back to Athens later this spring, with a commitment decision expected in July after completing his official visits. Speaking to 247Sports' Joseph Hastings, Brown expressed his thoughts on Georgia's coaching staff, particularly the new offensive line coach, Coach Rauscher, who brings NFL experience to the table.
"He's very aggressive, in a good way. He's crazy.
I love that," Brown said. With Coach Searels and Coach Kugbila also in the mix, Brown sees a strong developmental environment at Georgia.
"It's Georgia. You're going to get developed.
You start three years there, you're getting drafted," he added confidently.
Texas A&M and Oregon also feature prominently on Brown's list. The Aggies have secured an official visit from June 5-7, leaving room for other schools to make their pitch. Oregon is another destination Brown plans to visit in June.
In the coming weeks, Brown will tour several campuses, including Clemson, Nebraska, Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Florida, before wrapping up with another visit to Georgia. These visits will be crucial as he narrows down his top choices and sets his official visit schedule.
Brown's decision-making process will focus on understanding each program's overall style and operation, key factors that will influence where he ultimately commits.
